I took the dog to the vet a couple days after adopting her. Her ears are fine. The doc says she is okay. But my gut is telling me diffferent ly. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

She has been our home for almost three weeks. She has free reign in the house since she is already potty-trained(she's three years old).

Do you think she is just really nervous and will take a while to get used to her new surroundings? Have you tried sitting next to her on the floor and petting her, and if so does it stop then?

She might just be having some difficulty adjusting to her new environment. Try leaving her alone to explore the house and get used to things. Is she too cold or too hot? Maybe the AC is turned up too high and she's not used to it. Did the vet do blood work when he checked her out? She might have some medical condition such as low blood sugar or seizure disorder. There's nothing wrong with going to another vet and getting a second opinion. I had to take my dog to three different vets before I found one I trusted, who actually listened to me, and whose treatment actually worked on my dog's skin allergy.
Hope this helps! I thought I would have to put my dog down due to her skin infection, and she pulled through. Your dog will be just fine!

It could be that she is still a little nervous, or it could be a skin problem. If you don't think you have a proper diagnosis from your vet, go to another vet for a second opinion. Good luck

Some breeds like Dalmatian and Cocker Spaniel are naturally highstrung and need lots of contact, attention, TLC.

At least at first.

If she is long haired maybe her hair bothers her and she needs to be clipped. Maybe brushing would help to calm her as well.
