Seemed that way to me anyways knowing my girl cousins never got whooped bad.Dont know what a spanking is meant in america but in england where iam from a spanking is sumthing that last ages and leaves masses of hand prints!Usually over ur moms knee or a sofa arm.Weird how diff people get diff upbringings.

Well to tell you the truth, my sister and I got worse beatings than my brother for the same things, I don't hit my kids, it only humiliates people, does'nt make them learn.

My brothers and my whoopin were the same. If we messed up we got a spanking, we learned very quick not to do something. Never hurt my brother or I either, well yeah it hurt, but not mentally. We learned what and what not to do. As the years went by, we spanked our kids as well for doing wrong. I didn't show favorites with my kids either, the boy got it as much and as hard as my girl did. The spankings never hurt them either, they also learned what and what not to do.

heck no, in my house growing up, I got the worst whoopings I could ever imagine, and my baby brother never got any. Although by that time, my mom was probably worn out from giving me so many.

I doubt it....growing up...my sisters and I got da worse beatings. Yup...bruises and all....and hey it did make me think twice before doing something stupid. But of course I wld do it anyway I would always say dat it was just an a_ss whooping.

Personal experience says that I got more whoopings than my 4 sisters combined. I deserved every single one i got and have no problems with it today, lol!

My younger brothers got spankings way more than I did .... but not because they were boys ... they were just always getting into more trouble than me ... !
But to some point I agree that boys get it a little harder than girls do .... I can tell my dad would him them harder than he would with me ... it might just be that I'm daddy's little girl though ... haha ... !

i dunno why poeple spank their children !! , wehn i was a kid , i used to get beaten and boy do i prefere to get beaten than get spanked ! , it is much more humilating , i think it should be illegal
