2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

This is a scripture that pertains to when a nonbeliever marries a believer..
1Corinthians 7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy

2 Cor 6:14-16
14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
NIV

The Bible’s counsel is for Christians to marry “only in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 7:39) In fact, the Bible commands: “Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers.” (2 Corinthians 6:14, 15) Why so?

For one thing, religious harmony is a very important factor in a happy and successful marriage. Experts say that the stresses and strains common to interfaith marriages often lead to divorce. A greater concern, though, is the possibility of being pressured to compromise one’s religious beliefs—or to abandon them altogether. Even if an unbelieving mate did not interfere with your worship, you would still have to live with the heartache of being unable to share your deepest convictions with him or her. Does this sound like the formula for marital bliss?

You have to think about what a yoke is. It binded two animals together to do a job - like pull a cart or work a field. Since marriage binds husband and wife together, it is like a yoke. (Mt 19:6) Hence, for a Christian to marry an unbeliever would result in an ‘unequal yoking’ (2Co 6:14), making unity in thought and action very difficult.

Look at 1 Corinthians Chapter 7 verses 12 to 14. The unbelieving spouse will be sanctified by the spouse who is a believer.

2 Corinthians 6:14 " Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness?"

Mathew 19:6 " So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together let no man put apart.”

You have the Verse's.
The Spiritual REALM around us is Strange, Complicated and Invisible.
We (Spirit's in a Body) are Invisible.
When you get a Born-Again (Spiritman RECREATED, with GOD Living in there too) Person, and a Lost Person married, alot of Conflict in the Invisible Spiritual REALM inside of us and outside of us can take place.
I am not Judging, do what you want to.
I am just saying your agonna have a harder time managing all of that.
Kinda like two People from Different Part's of the EARTH getting Married---different Custom's so on, it is just harder to Manage.
Solomon, who married all Kind's of Women, and who wrote the Book of Proverb's, had a hard time (no pun intended) too!
Hope this helps.

2Co 6:14 Become not yoked with others--unbelievers, for what partaking is there to righteousness and lawlessness?
2Co 6:15 and what fellowship to light with darkness? and what concord to Christ with Belial? or what part to a believer with an unbeliever?
2Co 6:16 and what agreement to the sanctuary of God with idols? for ye are a sanctuary of the living God, according as God said--`I will dwell in them, and will walk among them , and I will be their God, and they shall be My people,
2Co 6:17 wherefore, come ye forth out of the midst of them, and be separated, saith the Lord, and an unclean thing do not touch, and I--I will receive you,
2Co 6:18 and I will be to you for a Father, and ye--ye shall be to Me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.'

I know what you mean, but the context of that verse doesn't involve marriage, sex , dating or courtship. It rather refers to contradictions that are closer to what the US president is doing: unequally yoking his religious beliefs with warfare, oil madness and hatred.
