Unfortunately, I usually do. I was brought up to believe it was impolite to pray in a restaurant (we prayed at home). But now my dining room is full of office equipment and I eat alone on a tray and usually forget.

You stirred up the Spirit to convict me on this.

I do not pray at all. My family and friends respect my non-belief and when I am dining with them in their house I will join the table after prayers are said and if they are dining in my house I give them an option of praying before they eat and many will go do so in my living room before joining the table.

No, that's dishonorable, to everyone. I do pray over my food, when I'm alone, with my family, with non believers, but especially out in public. Not to look good, but man, I have NO idea what they do back in the kitchen! :)

If I'm in the house of a christian, then I will bow my head in prayer. I never know the prayer, so I can't say it along, but i think it is the respectful thing to do.
