i agree but i also think that he might say
"MY son taught you to love the lord your god with all your heart soul and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. How well did you obey this commandment?"
thats from the bible john somthing... it was
"Teacher" he asked
"What the most greatest commandment?"
Jesus relipled, "To the love the lord your God with all your heart soul and mind, and the second one is like it. To love your neighbor as your self. All the law of the books hang on these to commandments" (or somthing very close to that)

<<"My Son taught you to love your neighbor as yourself. How well did you obey this commandment?">>
If that's the question, then I think I could deal with that. Heck, I follow that idea more than some of God's so-called faithful do, if the answers around here are any indication of how people act in the real world.

I agree.
I also suggest you read the book:
The Five People You Meet In Heaven
I don't know what God's going to say.
I do know that one day I'll be there, I hope.
I also know that Jesus will be there with me, in case I get a little scared by the sight of God.
I am a bit nervous about meeting my maker.
Just that he's all and I'm not.
You know, the normal nervousness of meeting for the very first time.
Anyhow, yes, I know God will ask me a few things, like why didn't you love your brother more.

I agree that will be one question, but, that commandment is how one should live, not the reason we were created to live.
So, I think God will indeed look at what we accomplished with our life, versus our God given created potential as the first issue, like the parable of the talents. He will also look to see how we accomplished our potential.

I'm glad you know what Jesus and God won't say. However, I have to say that putting God or Jesus into a box like this is very self-righteous.
I mean, you think you honestly can grasp the magnitude and expansiveness of God? Do you think God speaks English? Do you think you can wrap God up into something that you can define? Who says God will ask us anything?
God is so huge and unfathomable I don't like to see people place God into a box of "this is what God won't say, this is what I think God will say...", it's so demeaning to an all-powerful being to presume that we can begin to understand. On top of that, it makes you look presumptuous and contradictory to your beliefs to suppose you understand God and to try to ponder what God will or won't say.

I think you're right about most of that. I think he'll ask a question like," What do you think you deserve?" However someone answers this question, God - being able to read their hearts, would know if they are genuine or hypocritical. Then he'll ask that second question.
It's all hypothetical, though. It's not like we know exactly what God will do.

the question will be "why should i let you into heaven?" the only answer that will guarantee entry is "because your son Jesus Christ died on a cross in my place to take the punishment that I deserved for going against your will. nothing i have done could ever appease your righteous wrath & judgement, but i believe your promise that anyone who believes & trusts in the death & resurrection of your son as a perfect & sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the whole world will be saved from your judgement."
the most important commandment in the bible is "love the lord your God with all your heart, mind & strength." you cannot love your neighbour if you do not fulfill this first commandment. our actions on earth have no bearing on our entry or otherwise to heaven, but if we trust in God & believe the bible, our actions should be governed by our faith & our desire to please God out of gratitude for his undeserved grace & mercy that he showed to us by sending Jesus to die in our place & take the punishment (death & eternal separation from God aka Hell) that we deserved for turning our backs on God.

Well if God exist, then he would not have to ask you anything. He would simply ressurect the ones worthy of Heaven and the rest would stay rotting in the dirt and cease to exist. I mean that's what it says in the Bible anyway.

If there were a God, he would be far more concerned with whether you were a decent human being.
But if you weren't, you wouldn't be talking to God, plus he would already know all that, so I think he'd move on to explaining things.

I don't think God will ask any questions at all because God already knows everything about us and what is in our hearts.

Sounds about right.....either that, or "Please give me a reason why you didn't believe in me (for the non-believers, of course).....make it good, cause this is going to determine where you go." LOL In all seriousness, I think the question will be more like what you said....it will have nothing to do with material things.
