get that file into windows movie maker (if you have it. if not, go to google and search free editing programs. it might take a while. if really desperate, you can BORROW an editing program from one of the many wonderful folks that use the ares file sharing program- google: ares. or you could go out and buy an editor) anyways, assuming you have movie maker, import it, do your editing and all that jazz, or if its already done, then go directly to step 3 (at the left side of your screen) and select send to dv camera. then follow the simple steps. with anything else, its pretty much like this, just go in, import it, edit if necessary, then export to dv. (dv and minidv- for what were talking about here, theyre the same exact thing.)
disclaimer: i assume no responsibilty for what is downloaded on ares by you.

in 3 simple steps
-open an editing software like WMmaker or pinnacle
-select file/s you want/need & drag that file onto the timeline
-select send to tape (miniDV that is)
and presto!
(but don't forget to connect the camcorder first via the firewire cable)
have fun!
