"Toaster ovens have been known to start a fire in a home. While many heating devices such as hand held hair dryers have a temperature sensitive switch to prevent overheating, sometimes foods placed in a toaster oven will catch fire before the temperature switch pops open the oven door. The task will be to design a device to include in a new toaster oven to prevent the occurrence of fires. The device should be non-destructive. That is it should detect the fire or the conditions of the fire before it starts and turn off the heating element."

You sure can! I do it all the time. It works just like a regular oven.
There are cookbooks for toaster ovens. I LOVE the carrot cake recipe.

Mine says you can do cookies, I don't think you can do cake just because a toaster oven isn't big enough to hold a whole cake.

if you want to...It works in an easy bake oven so I would assume it would work in a toaster oven. Same concept right

I don't think your toaster oven reaches temperatures of a "real" oven..so I wouldn't chance it.

no but there are these things out by betty crocker. They come in a bowl and you mix up the mix thing and nuke it for like 1 minute and its done. Its AMAZINNG! only like 1.50 too.

YES U CAN I DO IT ALL THE TIME I PUT THE TEMP DOWN BY 25 DEGGREES IN IT THOUGH BUT IT DOES COME OUT PERFECT IN MINE
