Not as far as I know, but if you are not a US citizen, it might be a good idea to take it with you, as Florida is a site of much illegal entry into the US. If you have a resident visa or some other semi-permanent credentials that you wish to keep safer, such as in a deposit box orr safe in NY, then take a photocopy with the location of the original on it. You should be fine without it, but it doesn't hurt to be safe.

You will need a passport (and a lot of time) to get into the US. However, once you are in, you are golden... you can go anywhere but if you are flying, you will need identification to prove that you are you then you will need your passport. Train, bus or automobile, you won't need a passport. Have fun!

To get into the US a passport is needed, but once you're in you can fly around the US to your hearts content without the need of a passport . . . unless that is your only form of picture ID, then yes you will need it.

You do not need a passport unless it is your only official identification. Airport security requires you have some form of ID, like a state issued ID card, drivers license, or passport.

No. Unless you are a visitor in the USA, then you need it for positive identification. But if you are a USA citizen or legal resident, you just need any type of photo identification (such as valid drivers licence), not necessarily a passport.

No, not if you are an American citizen. If you aren't, you should already have a passport, it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring it just in case...You will be required to have a state issued picture ID, if you don't, get one or use your passport..

Good luck and have a nice trip...

No. You'll need to show your passport. It'll show the stamp of where you entered the US, and that'll satisfy the airlines.
Have a great time in Florida!
