Alright, so my cat had a litter of kittens, they just turned eight weeks old and I have 6 of them.....they were all fine sat. afternoon, I went to the movies and came back and one was non active and really sleepy...he has continued to be the same way, will still eat but not playfully.....his actions are drasticly differant from the other kittens and I think my roommate may have did something to him on accident because she said they were all playing on the stairs and she chased them back up (they don't go downstairs unless with me).....I asked her if something happend and of course she pretended like she knew nothing.....he just sleeps all the time and does not move also looks like he's crying.....what do you think might of happened and if he's hurt on the inside rather it be broken bones or internal bleeding what can I do to help him?

I took him to the emergancy animal hospital yesterday......I know just as much now as I did before I took him in there....the only thing good that came out of it was pain killers for him......I paid over $110 dollars for the vistit and medicine together. They didn't have an answer for me, they don't know whats wrong with him....They told me its either a disease he was born with, internal bleeding or a broken bone.....the only thing that might point them in the right direction would be some x-rays that costs $195/each.....but the x-rays can only see the bones not internal bleeding, disorders or trama....and if they do fine a broken bone (backbone, hips, spine) there isn't much we can do to save him, but they would still want to monitor him closely kept in the hospital which wld cost several hundreds of dollars a night ..... I took him and the medicine home with me.

Take him to a vet - that's why they exist.

Sounds like kitty was either stepped on or thrown. Gently pick it up, wrap it in a warm towel and place it in a box preferrably a cat carrier. Get kitty to the emergency vet if your own vet cannot fit it in. This poor baby sounds like it has internal bleeding or broken ribs. Sleeping is a way that any living thing facilitates healing but medical treatment is a must.
Get the mom cat spayed. She will be in heat soon. If you cannot afford the spay surgery, call the Humane Society and ask if they have spay and neuter clinics or foundations for helping people get their pets sterilized.
Good luck to you and kitty.

You need to take him to the vet if hes in pain and can't be saved he needs to be helped. Maybe the vet can do something for him. As for your so called friend, If she did do something shes sick. shes not a friend. If it was an accident she should have the balls to tell you so you can help the poor kitten!

If he is eating and cleeping well, check his nose and gums. If his nose is dry and his gums are pale he may be sick. Bring all the kittens to the vet anyway to have them checked out. If its something serious you need to get those cats to a vet ASAP to save them.

I agree with all of these answers. You really need to get it to the vet. I have had a couple do that also, and I hate to say it, but I didn't get them to a vet fast enough and they passed away. So, Please hurry!!!!
