Well lets see it is spelled Ramen with no Y. It seems more logical to pronounce it Ra-men or as you put it RaHmen. And I have never heard anyone pronounce it raymen.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramen -this should clear it up I tried to copy and paste but there are too many unusual characters for it to show correctly..

RaHmen, that is how it is meant to be said. I can't stand it when my little sister says it the other way.

Rahmen.

Raymen makes you sound country, but not in a good way.
Or, like "trailer trash". Unless you're not living in a trailer; then it just seems like you've lived your life without much contact with the the outside world.
Almost like the one lady who went to a pizza place and wanted to know what she should order because, she said, "I'm not [eye' tal lee un]" and she doesn't eat that kind of food.

I know, right? Part of what makes America great is that we have our own pronunciation for all foreign words. RAYMEN!!! But I don't buy that stuff.
