It isn't sexual in her mind. It's quite common for younger dogs to do this. Yes male and female dogs. Have her spayed at 6 months if not now. She will eventually quit doing it. Just ignore the behavior or tell her to stop. Give her something else to do when she is showing this unwanted behavior.

She’s probably in heat. Give her one season then have her spayed or you’ll end up with half a dozen of the blighters humping your bed.

You can't train her out of this behavior. It is in her hormones. She is like an adolescent teenager right now. The behavior will mostly go away by the time she's around two.

This is something that all dogs do male and female, by the way having her spayed wont stop it, my dog did not stop until he was about five and he had been DONE.

She's probably 'in season', although that does seem a little young, she's only a pup at six months. Have you asked the vet?

its normal for a healthy dogs---she has discovered herself, just like kids do when they reach puberty, eg fondling, masturbating,etc.etc.
