A quick and safe way is to if possible. Some of her favorite chewing items dip in or get a paper towel dip it in some vinegar and rub it on the item. Let it dry. The next time she decides to chew on these things the taste will ween her from chewing on items. Good luck. kenziebuchanan@hotmail.com if you have anymore questions.

My son does this and he is 6. I keep asking him to stop doing it but he does it more when he is around people. He is fine at home so I think that children do it when they are nervous. Im going to be taking my son to the GP to see what I could do to help him. It does not happen with his friends but Im sure you could get to the bottom of this, just go to the GP and see what they can advise you on. Good Luck. I konw what you are going through.

kick her teeth down her throat, that should fix it at once ! If she still uses her toothless gums to chew on things then hit her with pepper spray and kick her down a flight of stairs

hmmm, ignore her-dont tell her off when she does it.My sister grunted incessantly, like she had a tickle in her throat-and it got worse when my dad would yell at her to stop.So he didnt mention it anymore and she stopped doing it after a few weeks.Hopefully your daughter will just grow out of it, good luck
