Even if you do not belong to some organized religion -
Do you feel obligated in any way to get involved with attemting to STOP public pornography, racial epithets, or other abusive behaviors?

I believe that those things you mentioned are degrading to society. Pornography objectifies women, racial epithets degrade the race at which they are aimed, and any abusive behavior negates the value of the one being degraded.
I'd like to think that, regardless of our religious beliefs, that we would want to enrich the world around us, not to degenerate to the point where we live as slaves to our more base passions.

abuse on yahoo I don't report... physical abuse I do report to the correct authorities. Reporting abusers on yahoo will not change that person in any way and if they are happy with the life they have chosen then I let them live it. I pray for them but turn the other cheek. God bless.

This is the Best Country to Live in.
They tell me One Woman got Prayer taken out of the School's.(Did not say that was the RIGHT Thing to do, the System can be used for GOOD or BAD. It work's.)
The System still work's.

yes, but whats unacceptable to you will be differant from my view, so only if the person has written something obviously wrong then I will do something.
I want to but other than for family and friends who will actualy 50% chance listen to me noone else will bother listning to me. If there was something like a rape which is seen I would do something.

It is the duty of any moral, upright person to report abuse when found. I would.

absolutely. Even before I was a Christian, I would (& did) report rude and/or crude behavior, postings, etc.
