Birthday Wishes Sent To Heaven
Today is the day
That you were born
Thirty-one years ago
Your Birthday falls
The day after mine
We used to call each other up and say
Happy Birthday Sis
But we can’t do that anymore
For you went to live in Heaven
And I can’t call you
So I will send my wishes
Upon an Angels wings
She can fly them to you
So that you know
Even though you are gone
I am still thinking of you
Such a short life you got to live
Until the Angels took you home
It was not a sickness or accident
That took you away
It was a selfish person
Who took away your life
In a drive by shooting
You were taken away
From us
And we still miss you so
But we are trying each day
To let you go and move on
We all are doing better
We are dealing with our grief
Some days are harder than other’s
Like today will be
But you will always been in our Hearts
And we can share our memories
That we made with you
Our life is a little more empty
Since you went away
And not a day goes by
That I don’t think of you
So today on your Birthday
Since I can not see your face
Nor call you up and say
Happy birthday to you
I will send my love and wishes
On a pair of Angel wings
So when you see that Angel
That is looking for you
Remember she has a message for you
From one Angel to Another
She will whisper in your ear
