This is a fact. (not a belief )
It is also a fact that these qualities are native and basic in all of us, which is why when we practice them we come into harmony with others since they recognize these qualities as their own.

People have only become negative and destructive because they think that is the way others are. It is a shabby overcoat they wear. When they discover through real communication experience and proper observation of others that this is false,
they discard the shabby overcoat and become themselves.

Gandhi knew this to be true and had the courage to practice it and demonstrate it to show others that it was true.

There is only kindness lucid, strong in the moment like sunlight penetrating a gloomy glade.......cynical in many ways but oh so true when you have tried so hard to succeed in the practice of all the above and people are so shallow and self serving and don't even care these days ( some People) peace & love

Yes, I do believe because God can do all things. It would be necessary for a change of heart of the unharmonious to truly bring this about. God can do that but He will never interfer with the free will of another and that other may not want to be in harmony with others.

Well, not with anyone... there are people who are so tempered that they always seek conflict - you cannot really change them just by being kind, loving, etc. ... but of course it surely helps.. it may calm them down and they will be grateful for you for not firing back when they fire..... :)))
Opposites attract, as they say......

No. In fact, the nicer you treat some people, the more they will resent you. Human nature is one of fickleness and pride.

No, not with anyone. It would not work with a "Charles Manson or Jeffry Dahmer" type.
I do practice it, but Istill keep my eyes open.
