The computer operates in a logical manner. Logic says that many of man's inventions--like the clock, or the computer-were just copied from nature. Logic also says that these copies have designers/ makers.

IF THESE COPIES HAVE DESIGNERS/ MAKERS, WHAT ABOUT THE ORIGINALS?

But, no. For strange reason--probably due to brain mal-functions--atheists would deny that there is a designer/maker for these orginals.

I really can't undertand. Can you???

Guys, listen to what you are saying!!! Here are some of my comments:

Devlad: Yes, we're not on same league. My logic can be proven, yours can not.

Kjelstad: Yes there's difference between mechanical and biological. But, which is more complex and intricate? Which would require a designer /maker?

Spvcpt: Tell me the beginning and end of a circle. Or, tell me the beginning and end of the universe, and I'll tell you the beginning and end of God.

Duckphup. Go to Butchart Garden, Victoria, BC. There you'll see some amazing flower /plant arrangements. All these require designers/ makers. Now look at a simple cell. It is even more complex than those beautiful flowers. AND, THE SIMPLE CELL just EVOLVE?? Common, it doesn't require one to be a rocket scientist to arrive at the right conclusion!!!

Why can't you spell atheists correctly? Does this mean that you are mentally deficient? Logic says that if parts of a book are obviously wrong, then you cannot trust the rest of the book to be correct. Logic says that if god existed, then I would have some way of knowing, and because I don't, then logic says there is no god.

What serves you as a substitute for logic and reason is a logical fallacy (a flaw in thinking) known as the "Argument From Incredulity"... which is a sub-category of the "Argument ad Ignorantiam" (Argument From Ignorance). It goes something like this: "I can't conceive of how this might have come to be; therefore, God did it."

That does not represent a limitation of nature... it represents a limitation of knowledge or intellect. Additionally, it is intellectually dishonest... it does not ACKNOWLEDGE the limitation of knowledge or intellect... it appeals to a fanciful, imaginary, supernatural entity to create the ILLUSION that your cognitive dissonance has been resolved. It substitutes 'faith' for fact, and 'belief' for knowledge. Neither faith nor belief are sufficient to sustain reason... they are only sufficient to sustain willful ignorance.

That is the epitome of self-delusion.

By your "Logic" (using that term loosely), then your god must have a creator.

Sorry, son, your position implodes upon itself and disappears in a puff of logic.

Try again?

PS: don't try to have a battle of logic with me. You're not even close to being in the same league.

You're too uneducated to be speaking of these things. Atheism doesn't mean "thinking with logic" even though many of them do. It means that they do not have a belief in a higher power, this doesn't mean that they don't have dreams, hopes, and creativity.

That's biased I.D. propaganda.
If you get to a point in nature and call it "designed", you have given up the scientific method.
You probably believe that the "perfect ratio" is perfect throughout nature too.

If every thing is created, what created the creator?

The arguments supporting religion cannot withstand the glaring light of reason.
