Try http://www.uniqueweddings.org and on the 2nd page there is a tab for gowns- http://www.uniqueweddings.org/Affiliates.html

I got my dress through there and it was inexpensive, even after minor alterations. They have some beeeaautiful dresses that would be great for the beach.

Good luck :)

Eden Bridals has very inexpensive, informal gowns. I worked at a bridal salon for over 7 years, all I can say from experience is STAY AWAY from David's Bridal I have heard so many horror stories.

I agree with above.. try david's bridal they have dress for like a $100... and becareful on the internet. Some dress look like crap when you get them and I know another friend who order a dress and the company disappeared and she never got her money back. Plus a lot of dress look really cheap and unflattering in person. I would recommend going some place where you can see them first. David's was really nice and they have great sales and coupons!

Check out Dreams by Renee. They have some absolutely gorgeous dresses PLUS they will create a custom dress based on drawings/photographs at extremely reasonable prices. All of the prices listed on the website are suggested retail and since I am an authorized rep, I am able to offer a discount as well, if you're interested. http://www.dreamsbyreneebridal.com

Good luck!

May I say , make sure you buy from a reputable company. Bride Save is a very good one.
And whether it is over the Net or in person, pay with a CREDIT CARD. Not so you can go over budget, but so you can be protected.

I don't know what you consider "a good price", but try Nordstrom, bluefly, & J.Crew. I'll link to some examples.
