Just start mixing it in with the soft, and eventually phase out the soft. He probably wont eat the hard stuff just yet.
Good luck.

Start by using mostly soft and add some hard food to it. Then gradually change to having more hard and less soft until you have all hard. Make the time period go for at least a week for the transition. You need to do this any time you change pet food, even if it is just a matter of changing to a new brand of hard or soft. This is because the animal's body gets used to the food you are giving it, and something new could make it sick.

How old is your kitten?
Anytime you change a cat from one food to another, you should do it gradually by mixing the two together and decreasing the amount of the old food.
Try mixing a little bit of water or milk with the hard food and graducally decrease the liquid as the kitten gets used to the hard food.

Don't mix anything. Keep a bowl of hard food a couple feet away from the soft food. Your cat will start to 'snack' on the hard food in between soft food feedings. Slowly reduce the amount of soft food and the number of soft food feedings and Kitty will switch over on her own.

i had the same problem. Try mixing in some soft food with the hard. Then over a week or so slowly decrese the amount of wet food that you mix in. Hard food is better for a cats teeth and digestion.

you could try putting a little warm milk over the hard food to soften it a bit. Then start to add less and less milk.

he should be able to eat hard food deffinatly by now. just keep it out and when he's hungry he'll eat it, you might want to phone the vet and ask them if they have any ideas.
