I feel for your pain. I had it and thought it would never go. Rest rest and more rest. If you have to strap up your arm to stop you using it, do it. be care full using pain killers, the pain your feeling is your body telling you there is some thing wrong, make it forget about the pain and you could worsen the situation by using the shoulder.
Get well soon

A frozen shoulder is terrible. Get a good physical therapist and they might be able to help loosen it up. Your Dr can give you a prescription for anti-inflammatory medications like toradol or just try some Advil every four hours.

Yeah...I thought I had one once but imagine my suprise when after having it injected with cortisone for pain relief the pain didnt go.

Actually it turned out to be my upper right wisdom tooth. It had been chipped right at the base and had developedan abcess. The pain was actually manifesting itself in my shoulder.

Hopefully this is not the case with you and a hydrocortisone injection will help if ibuprofen tablets do not!!

.
As has been said rest it ...

You may find a warm bath or warm towels over it
helps as it warms the area increasing blood flow
and promoting healing, will take a little time to work
in but be patient it may well help.
