Haaa...just bought one today. I don't know if it will fit a toddler bed but it will fit twin-queen. We're going away and needed one for the hotel bed. This is where I found ours:
www.buybuybaby.com (they have 3 different kinds)
www.babiesrus.com (only 1 kind here)
if that doesn't work, try putting pillows and comforters on the floor where the toddler bed is open at the end. It's close enough to the floor and the pillows will cushion any fall.

I used a twin bed rail until I knew my son wouldn't fall out. He was only 10 months when he went into a toddler bed. It didn't take him long. The twin rail fits almost the entire length of the bed. it leaves just enough room for the child to get in and out of the bed at one end. I chose to leave the opening at the bottom. Hope this helps.

There are some good ones at Toys R Us/Babies R Us... my daughters have used one that folds down on the side of the bed. It is by Evenflo. I recommend one that has mesh sides to allow the flow of air in case she puts her face against it while she sleeps.

Dont use them at all, just lay boards with nails in them on the floor to fall on, your stupid little daughter will learn fast. I suppose you will put training wheels on her bike too when you have a helmet on her "water head" and knee pads, neck brace etc. Reality sucks, it's best your little "princess" learns that quick
