Let people believe in what they want but please don't impose it on others I think this is the best way of saying it.

it won't happen because it has already been asked. Jesus said , "who do you say that I am?" Those that truly know Jesus and can answer that question with confidence will never become a doubter. Those that don't and are clouded with pride, rebellion and bitterness and refuse to lok atthe question with an open mind and heart are walking into the question with the intent of trying to disprove it- there is nothing that can be said that will change them either- it has to be God who softens their heart
It is those inbetween who are really seeking the truth that will be changed by the words of truth.

No. We're all individuals. I think it's good to be open-minded about others' opinions, and if it's something positive you want to apply to your own life, great! If not, you just know how someone else feels about that subject. I'm kinda an in between, innocent by-stander (if you will). I pray for a lot of people on this website, but I don't judge those with negative things to say...I don't consider myself a "christian," but I do know prayer is a powerful thing...I'd NEVER try to get anyone to believe what I do, to each his own. Have a wonderful rest of your Monday! :)

"Will anyone ever come up with that one special question that will convert the rest of us?or become doubters?"
I don't think so. If we were compatible computers it might work that way. But since we are analog living beings, we all have our own times, own levels of understanding, etc.

I very much doubt it. Even if such a logical proof existed, it still wouldn't change anybody's mind. People believe things almost always for emotional reasons rather than logical ones, and atheists are just as guilty of that as fundamentalists are. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you shouldn't expect to try to reason with anybody about what they believe (no matter what the nature of the belief), because you'll usually get nowhere. That's just human nature.

I doubt it. Faith, and non-faith, are so tied up in personal beliefs, and the questions posed on Yahoo Answers tend to be so blatant that I doubt that anyone will get anywhere.
If I post a question that can be interpreted as "So, now do you see why your beliefs are stupid?" very few people are going to agree with me. That's the kind of questions that I tend to see from the far sides of the continuum. It's these of us that are less extreme that tend to have any valid discussion, and most of us aren't pushing for converts.

Sorry, the questions and answers are up to you. That's the beauty of it all. There is nothing I can say or ask that will convert anyone one way or the other. The answer is up to you. That's the really cool part of the design.

Nope . they have to want to change thier minds . ALTHOUGH , most religions claim some one will come and be able to sway the minds of many .He will get all the people to convert under one religion , for the good of all mankind. BUT, That one is susposed to be the anti-christ

Here's the special question.
How do we explain the existence of 'the mind' if we can not feel, see, hear, touch, taste or smell it?
Science can not prove it to be a tangable thing, yet it exist and we are hopeless without it, we simply can not function if not for it.
I can say the same for God.

quran surah baqarah 2:6-7
surely those who reject Faith it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them they will not believe.
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts, and upon their hearing, and upon their sight is a veil; and for them is a great chastisement.
2:10
In their hearts is a disease, so Allah increased to them the disease, and for them is a painful punishment because they used to believe.
2:21-24
O you mankind! worship your Rabb Who created you and those before you, so that you may practice reverence,-
Who made for you the earth a carpet, and the sky as a canopy; and He brings down from the sky water, then He brings forth by it fruits as a sustenance for you. Therefore do not set up with Allah rivals, while you were knowing.
And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed upon Our Bondsman, then come up with a Surah the like of this and invite your helpers besides Allah, if you are truth-tellers.
But if you do not do- and you can never do- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and the stones- it is prepared for the Unbelievers.
2:28-29
How can ye reject the faith in God?- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return.
It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.
