Its likely not enough to worry about, but most of them do have some calories because they usually have sweeteners and honey-like coating agents for the throat. However, if you are a diabetic, you need to be more careful. Bottom line: Read the label.

Read the nutritional information on the back of the packaging.
just about everything you eat or drink (except water) has calories. i don't see why cough drops would be excluded.

Yes. It's like eating a piece of candy. Unless you find diabetic glucose free variety. They will still have calories, but are made with a sugar substitute.

Some have sugar and some have honey for a sweetner.
They do have some made with splenda.. So read the package and see which one has less. But they ALL
have SOME.
