It's not you dumb idiots...NEVER is the "beast" referred to as the Antichrist. The word is ONLY used 4 times in the Bible...It clearly states ANYONE who does not believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God is an ANTICHRIST. Actually, the "Beast" wouldn't be considered the Antichrist, because it will know that Jesus is in fact the Son of God. The "Beast" will though, prey upon the Antichrist of the world. I'll personally send $1000 to the first person who can tell me what Book & Chapter of the Bible that says the Antichrist is One person the "beast" who will come to destroy mankind...etc.

Okay, he comes to TRY and destroy mankind...
It's funny how so many people take the Bible so Litteraly, but then, can embellish on what suits them....We can assume that the "beast " is the Antichrist, even though the Bible NEVER says that he is, But we can no way beleive that Creation evolved around Evolution, becuase the Bible never says it does. Exactly right Lori. According to I John, The anti-Christ is anyone who doesn't believe Jesus is the Son of God.
You do realize don't you that this group of people is primarily the Muslims who have been strictly taught by Islamic teachers NEVER to agree with the statement that Jesus is the Son of God or the Messiah?
They have been indoctrinated since birth to refuse the Diety of Christ.... under the threat of death.
Fear is the only way Satan can use to blind the Muslims to the Diety of Christ.

The bible doesn't mention the Antichrist. There is no mention of the Antichrist in the bible, except maybe the Catholics bible. There are several beast mentioned in revelations. The several headed leopard on which Babylon the Great (the Harlot) rides upon. She represents False Religion, Religions claiming to be christian and claiming to do Gods work but not really fitting the criteria. The beast she rides on represents the government, and the Beast (leopard) eats the Harlot. Basically why Jehovah's Witnesses believe that The government will turn on religion and some huge Unconstitutional change will be made! The other several headed beast is described as a Dragon is actually Satan himself. He will be trying to confuse everyone and take them away from God through is usual tricks. There is one more who has frogs coming out of its mouth, and those frogs I think represent false information!

Many identify the "beast coming up out of the earth" as the Antichrist. According to Scripture "many antichrists" (1 Jn 2:18) and those who have the "spirit of antichrist" (I John 4:3) precede and prepare the way for the final Antichrist. THe supreme mark of all antichrists is the denial of the incarnation of the eternal Son of God (Jn 1:14; Mt 1:16). If the "beast coming up out of the earth" (vv.11-17) is the Antichrist, he is the same as the "false prophet" of 16:13; 19:20; 20:10. Because the word "antichrist" is never directly applied to him, however, some have considered the term "antichrist" define in the sense "against Christ", as applying to the first beat (vv1-10), who is the potitical ruler.
P.S. Chill out, dear. Peace.

Here are some more questions to consider:
Where is the doctrine of the rapture in the Bible?
Where is the doctrine of Purgatory in the Bible?
Where is the word trinity in the Bible?
Where is the word Bible found in the Bible, other than the cover?
To help answer your question, consider this except from the writings of Paul.
"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." (2 Thessalonians 2:3 - 4 NKJV)
This texts calls out a "man of sin." This cannot be the devil because he is not a man. It says that the "man of sin" "opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God..." The description of the beast in Revelation and Daniel says that it blasphemes (claims to have the power of God and therefore puts itself above God), and the description of the anti-Christ says he is against God (just like the "man of sin” opposes God).
Therefore, the "man of sin" in 2 Thessalonians is your missing link to identifying the anti-Christ. The "man of sin," the beast power of Daniel and Revelation, and the anti-Christ are all describing the same thing. Different authors have described the same thing in different ways.
So, when do I get my $1,000? I know I will not because you set the question up to be impossible. Revelation does not directly identify the beast as the anti-Christ; one cannot take one book out of the Bible and attempt to explain everything. We have to take the entire Bible to actually understand what it says. It would be like me asking you to explain creation but not being allowed to use any information contained in the book of Genesis.

Well thats a $1000 you'll keep. Revelation says nothing about a beast destroying man kind. A bunch of stuff happens, people get lead astray, many plagues begin and people suffer (no deaths) then Jesus comes down and judges the world and the good go to heaven and the bad go to hell. End of story. I hope it happens soon.

The Beast of Revelations is clearly the spawn of Satan. He is sent to enslave man and destroy the world. That is the opposite of Christ. The prefix "anti-" means opposite.
That is why people refer to the Beast as the Antichrist.

One thousand American dollars? Are you that wealthy, or are you just sure of your facts?
Relax. Turns out you happen to be right about the Anti-Christ and the Beast of Revelation not being one and the same. You are wrong about the rest, though.
The Book of Revelation is not a blueprint of the future. It was written for the Christian community of the First Century A.D. They had their own problems back then and couldn't care less about what was going to happen in the 21st. Century. They didn't even expect the world to last this long!
Of the Beast of Revelation you read the passage this way:
"...the number of the Beast is the number of a man... and his number shall be 666..." You speak of the Beast as of one who is yet to come. Read it again and don't read into it.
It reads, "A certain wisdom is needed here; with a little ingenuity anyone can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a certain man. The man's number is six hundred sixty-six."
The key words are, "a certain man;" and also, "The man's number is six hundred sixty-six." By qualifying 'man' with the words 'a certain,' means that the author of Revelation was speaking of a certain historical personage alive and well when the Book of Revelation was written. It does not refer to 'one who is yet to come.' This point is driven home when you read, 'and his number is 666.' It does not read, 'his number shall be 666.'
Stop waiting for the Beast of Revelation to reveal himself. We already know who he was. And there were two, not one Beast of Revelation.
Remember, the author of Revelation also said, "I noticed that one of the beast's heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound was healed."
The Jews and early Christians were big into numerology. To them the number '6' signified imperfection; '666' then was complete imperfection. The early Christians were also bilingual, speaking Hebrew and Greek.
Amazingly, when one assigns a numeric value to the name of Caesar Nero written in Hebrew, the value of the letters in his name total out to... 666. Nero committed suicide by striking his neck with his own sword. And so the Beast received a mortal 'head wound,' yet he lived again. How is this possible?
Well Domitian, Nero's nephew and successor was quite a 'beast' in his own right! He was even a worse persecutor of the Christians than his uncle. This is where it gets weird, Domitian written in Greek, the second language of the early Christians, also adds up to 666 when a numeric value is assigned to each Greek letter.
So you see, the Beast of Revelation has already come, and gone.

The beast is not.
THe anti-christ means against Christ- counter to Christ.
It is more of a mentality than a person.
It is the man of lawlessness. What is lawlessness?
It is without the Word.
The Word of God is sometimes described as Law.
Ps. 119
He will not destory mankind either. He will be destroyed.
You may read about him in the Second book of Thes. the second chapter.

I believe the Beast will be a computer. It will be used by all the raunchy cast of characters in the Bible.
It could also go down and lose its memory and be "resurrected". After all, only one of several "heads" could be affected.
There is a super-computer, I have heard, that has this nickname already. A few modifications, and whammo!
That is why we have to watch out for NSA and other such agencies which could share their info.
I'm surprised this hasn't come up before--where are all you conspiracy theorists?
