HUGGING

The Basic Essentials of Life

1. Air

2. Food

3. Water

4. Hugging

5. Clothing

6. Shelter

What is Hugging?

Hugging is natural, organic, naturally sweet, free of pesticides and preservatives. Hugging contains no artificial ingredients. It's 100% wholesome. No calories, no nicotine.

Hugging is nearly perfect. There are no batteries to wear out, no periodic checkups. It consumes little energy, while yielding a lot.

It's inflation-proof. It's non-fattening. There are no monthly payments. No insurance requirements. It's theft-proof, non-taxable, non-polluting, and fully refundable. And it costs very little.

Hugging is healthy; it assists the body's immune system, it cures depression, it reduces stress, it induces sleep, it invigorates, it rejuvenates, and it has no unpleasant side-effects. It's a miracle drug.

Adults, Infants and Hugging

Adults love to hug babies and they do it as often as possible. Adults love to hug other adults, too, yet they seldom do. The reason for this is surprisingly simple - adults are not afraid to initiate and enjoy hugging with infants because there's little chance of rejection.

What Sort of People Like Hugging?

Nice people. People who like to share things. People who make themselves and the world they live in a little happier by hugging.

The Best People, Places, and Times to Hug?

Anyone. Any place. Any time.

The Value of Hugs

Hugs are free - perhaps that's why so many take them for granted. If hugs cost a lot of money, people would probably knock themselves out to make enough to buy them.

Although hugs are free, they're worthless if they aren't used. An unused hug is lost forever. On a planet that's starved for affection, can we really afford to lose a single hug?

Scientific Research Has Shown the Following:

Every human being needs four hugs per day merely to survive

Eight hugs per day to maintain oneself at a strong emotional level

Twelve hugs per day to grow.

A hug can take many forms - an embrace, a kind word, a touch, a loving smile.

Peace and love...right on!

Today is a day for Love and for having a funeral for your old self. Leave it all behind because it is gone you know? Throw you watch in the drink because time is bondage to the free. Find a field of daisy's and dance into the center and lay down next to the one you love, or love the one your with. Give a hug to the Planet, if you lay down, face first and stretch your arms out and you will feel the curvature of the Earth. Give it a BIG Hug and imagine that you are hugging everything on the Planet. It really is within your reach if you believe. Send a ripple of good thoughts across the Universe and when it reaches the clear light it will return to you across the vast space and collect energy of Love and Peace and when it gets back to you, it will be seven times stronger then when you sent it out. Be prepared to receive, here it comes. Have a great day and thanks for the Love.

All ready hugged a couple of people today, and planning on doing some more hugging before the day is out. I am a touchy feely person. Happy thoughts, I love that. Not only is caring and loving someone makes your day, it also can make the one you huggings too. It might be the only brite spot in their day. A simple kind word, holding the door for someone, a thank-you---simple things can mean so much. My happy thought is that I seen you question! Thank you.....God bless us all............

Thanks old hippie! I always give my little girl hugs before I leave her at daycare and throughout the evening after I pick her up. There are some very good questions in this category, and I'm finding myself challenged to answer, but I'm not a very good Bible scholar. But if there were more simple questions like this one, well there's no reason not to answer. Have a good day and God bless!!

You know old hippie, you're absolutely right. We should live each day as if we knew it would be our last. We should see all of our loved ones and everyone with whom we come in contact as their 'higher selves' and direct our actions accordingly. We all have a part of our being that is spirit and spirit is always seeking expansion and fuller expression (our higher selves).

I will include a bit of lyrics from the boys. Do you know this?

And come the moonrise, when the dew falls
Don't be the sun that fades away
Don't leave me darkness, she is no lover
She hides the day
You don't know how easy it is
You don't know how easy it is to love you
