my dog, a 6 month old bichon, at times when someone she really likes comes home, goes into a mode i like to call "cujo". she does laps around the house super fast barking and chasing at absolutely nothing, then afterwards she calms down and goes for a nap.

We had invisible fencing around the deck on the back of the house. The deck was 3 ft off the ground and the railings on the side were 4 and a half ft high. Me and my brother were playing in the backyard one day and my dog was stuck on the deck. She wanted to play so bad that she leaped over the railing, got zapped by the invisible fence in mid air (her body twitched from the electricity) then landed from 7ft up and skidded across the ground. She continued to run around and play like nothing happened. Never laughed so hard in my life.

We live in a town with a leash law. My landlord won't let us keep our dog in the house, so he is tied up all day til we get home. If my husband goes and untie him he is jumping around like a rabbit, but if i untie him he bows down like I am the queen or something, its really a funny sight.

lol, my dog isn't really crazy she is just dumb. SHe is an english setter. We were camping and we had a trailer by us and she ran right into the cornor of it, It was really funny.she can't catch anything when we toss food at her and when she is tied up on a leash she wanders around so much that she makes a huge mess and she can't even move anymore, unless she backtracks and she doesn't know how to do that.

I love my dog but sometimes she can be really annoying. She's always running around like a weirdo. She also loves to bark at absolutely NOTHING! I've been putting up with it for 10 years now, so I'm used to it. :)

I have a 3 year old Bassett hound that STILL does that. She is LOONEY! And if my husband is in a similar mood they will chase each other around the house until both pass out! It is the funniest thing to watch! Try participating.. your pup may LOVE IT!!

my dog goes a step farther...he'll run his laps and if someone is in the way, he'll wait till the last possible millisecond before he avoids you...then as he's turning the corner near a wall, he'll jus slam his body into it (still going full speed) and continue his laps. The funniest thing ever.

one of my dog is that same. I couldn't train him to calm down, and i was wondering what is wrong with my training method. (all my other dogs are what you call "model dog", they behave perfectly) he would run around like your dog, and lay down, belly up, then start to rub his back on the ground like he has an inch. he would make this weird happy noise when he is rubbing. yea, later on i just realize this is just dog being dog, and it's the most adorable thing in the world.

That's playtime, friend...she's chasing away all the intruders and monsters before she takes her nap. Its completely normal and humorous. She is having a good time, feels good, and wants to show it. Relax and enjoy the show.
