Yes... of course within reason... I am guessing you wanted her to say that she couldnt because she had already made plans... and honestly I think thats what she should have done, however, I dont think that she doesnt love you just because she didnt do that... I suggest you think about events in the past and decide from there if she makes sacrifices for you the way you make sacrifices for her... This might help you decide whether or not she truly loves you... I also think that you should discuss the incident with her so she knows how you feel and maybe you can understand why she felt is was more important to go to work... By the way if her occupation is that of a doctor, police officer, or etc., I think that your being the unreasonable one.

no its not TRUE
love is a word only its feelings that make 2 people collide and become one.
respect understanding and space is the out come of a good friendship
love may come later as u get to know one another better , buying gifts does not suggest love is accepted from the other
when the right one comes a long U will know.
what makes u think you must do something ?? to say u love them ,
a nice complement is as good as anything u can give a person you like .

I think this is true within the realms of safety and sanity. Though being in love can make you insane. Perhaps she had no choice but to go into work. There is a lot of competition in the work world, she is just trying to keep her place on the ladder or make it to the top like everyone else.

Yes, I would do anything for my boyfriend if something happened. If you love someone as much as you say you do or as much as you feel... doing anything for them shouldn't even be a question. Now, in your case about going into work unexpectedly.. she couldn't really help that.

Wrong. That's God we should do anything for. Not humans. Don't make humans God; you'll be disappointed. Humans are not gods; only, human. We can only do the best we can do. God never disappoints. We should all do what God would have us do; not, what each other would have us do.
Are you suggesting she should jeopardize her job for you? Isn't that a little selfish? That's not something you should ever expect from her; but, if you are truly deserving, something she may just do for you; if it doesn't jeopardise her job. It should be HER idea; not, yours.
Would you do the same for her?

When you love someone, you are willing to put in that extra effort just to light a smile on the special someone's face.
You are more willing to go beyond your usual comfort zone, and sacrifice yourself for the person. It might be allowing them to pursue the career of their dreams in a faraway land, traveling 2 hours to visit when you know that he/she is sick, etc...
You would always strive to be more understanding and give instead of wishing for returns.

I heard that before. I think that it's true. I think that really if you love some one you do all that you can for a person. I know that I go out my way for the person I love so much.

No you don't just do anything for them just because you love them. She was called into work and she had to go. She is trying to be a responsible employee. Don't make more of it than it is.

So? I'd appreciate it if you came if I were her, but I also have to work & make a living. Chill, cut her some slack. It doesn't mean that she doesn't love you because she had to leave you at home & go to work. Grow up.

it is true that if you love someone you will do anything for them.(short of murder)although many have done that in a fit of jealousy.but you sound like you are complaining about something.is it the fact that she was working.or maybe she wasn't working maybe she was seeing someone who lives closer to her than you.
