do you ladies need it to be recongnized or is the fact i remembered going to earn me bonus points? Would you consider it the day you first met her(with friends) or the day of your first real date alone together. dont worry everyone, i know both days so that isnt the issue ;>)

Both days.....ALWAYS recognize all dates especially when it has to do with your relationship. She will love you even more for it. And it will let her know that you really care. And I applaud you for remembering both dates, most men need to be reminded of their marriage anniversary. Keep up the good work.

Believe me, the woman will remember. It will go a lot better for you if you keep track of it too. And I personally would consider the first "real" date as the starting point, but I would mention the fact on the "anniversary" of the first time meeting.

I never worried about monthly anniversaries when I was dating my husband... but I guess some girls are high maintenenance like that. I guess it wouldn't hurt to acknowledge it, maybe stick a note on her car or a flower. But if she's one of those girls that gets upset because she didn't get a dozen roses and candy on your 4 1/2 month anniversary, then ditch her, because she has alot of growing up to do!!!

I don't think it's necessary to make a big deal about it. It's nice to maybe mention it so that she knows you remember, but I don't think much else is necessary.
As for which day is your anniversary, that should be determined by the two of you. Different people have different ideas about which it should be.

It is very sweet that you remembered... and romantic and with most girls it will earn you "brownie points". I doubt it will matter to her which day you chose to remember, its how you remember it that counts. Send her an e card (or buy a paper one) and a flower (a single rose is a nice gesture) or maybe some chocolates (unless she is diet crazy). My boyfriend remembered our six month anneversary by marking it on the calendar with foil hearts and tissue flowers and he made dinner. I was more than impressed and he definitely earned his "prize". Good luck to you.

Third month anniversary?!? Are you 12? That is the most ridiculous "anniversary"! Save the celebrating for the big ones!

Bonus points. Go back to the same places as your first night out together.

I would choose the first day you met her to be the true anniversary...and yes, get something...a nice card and maybe something like a small teddy bear! Jewelry is always nice!

Women like it if you remember stuff like that when we don't. Doesn't matter what it's the anniversary of! :-) Just don't go so extravagant that she feels guilty for not acknowledging it - because those type of anniversaries are completely unnecessary.

woman like guys to remember these things. Especially if you are pounding the ugly. Buy her flowers - she might give you a BJ in return!
