Pray! I pray for the LORD to sustain me. The best thing to do is "put on the whole armor of God" first thing in the morning by memorizing and praying Ephesians 6:10-20. I was just thinking that trying to remain in awe of God makes me feel His presence nearer to me, and that keeps me from doing what I shouldn't and defeating my flesh. For example, I saw a 3d ultrasound http://www.babywaves3d.com/ of my unborn baby last Wednesday and I have had no trouble walking in holy worship of Him ever since and there was a besetting sin that I was struggling with for about the past 2 months. It's gone now, Thank the LORD! I used to fast often and that kept me able to defeat my flesh as well.

The devil is a sneaky one. He can get to you before you realize it, but as soon as you recognize him, if you have the faith, you can rebuke him in the name of Christ. That is one word he cannot stand. Just look at the non-believers on here. That is the devil, working through them, getting his message spread really more than God. So, just say "Begone Satan in the name of my Lord Jesus", and he will leave. As you know the devil is sneaky, he even sneaks up on me at church sometimes. He is an expert when it comes to that. Take heart, you are not alone.

If it is a sexual temptation, RUN!! Get away from it.

Refuse to think about it. Find something good to think about, and if you can't do that, think about anything else at all (like what'f for dinner).

Call a Christian friend, pastor, or counselor. If you have memorized Scripture on the subject, keep quoting it in your head. And of course, pray.
