we are not scared of them but why are they us?

BEcause alot of humans like to shoot the birds....As in hunting; some people hunt for dove, quail, ducks, turkey etc etc. others shoot birds just to shoot them.

ALL wild animals should be scared of humans.
we are bigger than them, and most of the time they aren't used to us being around. We're like another strange animal, same as a dog or a cat to them. They don't know if we're harmless or not so they stay on the safe side.
Also imagine if game birds were not scared of hunters. They'd be practically extinct!

Birds, and most wild animals are afraid of humans and other species larger than them due to survival instincts. In order to survive in the wild, they need to be aware of predators. Due to our size, as well as many humans who have hunted throughout history [and also many who still practice this], birds and most wild animals have learned to fear humans.

Because its their natural instinct to get them in cautious position. Don't think only birds get scared from human....even mighty animals too....If you keep watching National Geographic/Discovery/Animal Planet.....you can easily witness there are number of giant animal like elephats, giraffe, bears in first place try to run away from human...its another thing that they make themselves readily in counteraction.....but its not the case with birds who are always living in fearful situation....even Mr.Eagle too.

not all birds are afraid of us. sometimes if you are like freaking out alittle bit out sometihing, birds can scence something is wrong and can detect tension(blood presure and heat)

Because man shoots them----it an instinct they are born with to be fearful. We have created the problem.

sea gulls and pigeons ain't scared off us and robins too,but i think most birds are just weary.

that is xactly wut I wonder!! I have 2 parakeets, and their cage is next to a wall. Whenevr i come to give dem their food/water or clean out their cage, they slide away from me. I think they r used 2 me tho becuz i had dem for 4 months already!

Human kill birds. Birds do not kill human.Human bigger and devious than other creatures. All creature are suspicious of ugly unkind human.
