now if you want extreme, go for a dark cherry red or a brilliant gold brown.

There is a new technique, caled "butterscotching." it's like putting distinct, very thin stripes into the hair. You really need to have done professionally, unless you have at least three gal buddies who are willing to patiently assist. Foil is used, to wrap the separated piece, covered with the colour mixture. It's a lengthy process, but BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! You can compare samples of hir swatches, in a salon, and the hairdresser will custom mix the solution. Best of luck!!

When my hair was brown, I had my stylist put blond and copper in my hair and I didn't know it but another stylist was doing the same to her client. It looked great on the both of us, if I do say so myself.

I prefer dark auburn highlights on dark brown hair: it's very attractive.

I have dark brown hair also. My hair stylist put in carmel highlights. It looks fantastic!

dark blonde- lighter blonde
light brown- light blonde
dark brown- carmel (sp?)
black- red
orangey/red- really light blonde
dark red- dark blonde

id go with either like a redish-brown, or and honey blonde almost like brownish-blonde, maybe even a strawberry-blonde would b pretty
