Why do Atheists think they are right when they are the smallest minority in the world?

You need to think outside the box! You say atheists like it's a religion; a group of people with similar beliefs. It's neither - while atheists may have the common theme of not believing in god, that's pretty much where it ends.

There's the fact that EVERYONE thinks they are right. You're no different, are you?

Unfortunately, people are always thinking that they are right unless the real proof are exist in the front of his sight even though they are the smallest minority in the world they. But you know, just some speculation, maybe we know that atheists is the smallest minority, but are you sure about that?

Actually the title of smallest minority in the world likely belongs to Zoroastrianism.

Atheists - are not the smallest minority in the world. They are bold about what they believe in. They say that there is no God and do as they please. They are bold in their rebellion and denial of God.

So unlike most of the christians....We are rebellious and deny that we are. We are not rebellious! How can you say that? Then why are you sleeping around with your girlfriend and not be married? How can you kill your unborn child? How can you beat up your wife and children?

We are too busy looking at the splinter in our neighbors eye when we have a big of plank in our own.

If we Christians would stand up for what we believe then just maybe we could read our Bibles in School, pray at work, and serve our God.

But instead we allow it to be stolen because we ourselves are just as rebellious but say Look at how good I am.

Tell me something where is the Love? Jesus loves the atheist just as much as he loves anyone. Stop throwing rocks at people who don't agree with you and start loving them. Show them Who Jesus is through Love.

Even of your estimate was correct, which it isn't, it's difficult to understand your premise.

When we come to a conclusion about, say, how many types of amino acids there are, we don't put it on a ballot for people to vote on. In fact, we don't give a hoot if anybody outside of the scientific and technical community believe it or not. You see where this is going right?

Put another way, an opinion can be "right" even if it's held by a single person against the whole rest of humanity. "Minority" that!

What makes Christians or religious people in general think they're right? Considering religion was "created" in a time of scientific ignorance, it's quite simple to figure out that most "religious" people are just followers of the masses.

I'm on the fence as to God's existance but i don't think either side is 100% right nor do I ridicule either side. You may just want to consider that it is possible that you are wrong and the minority you refer to, may be right!

Here is an example.

We know (are pretty sure) the earth is 4 billion years old. Even if it's not we KNOW it is at least millions of years old. The last dinosaur lived 65 million years ago and we have the bones to prove it. Yet the Bible says the universe and earth are 6 thousand years old! There are tons of discrepancies like this that prove the Bible is wrong, but Christian's just close their eyes and don't want to hear it.

Presumably for the same reason that all religions think they are right and when compared to the world as a whole every religion is a minority.

Maybe the athiests are right - who knows? I certainly don't and I wouldn't condemn anyone whatever their beliefs.

Also, they are the third largest majority in the world - there are 2.1 billion Christians (of all denominations, Catholicism being the largest), 1.3 billion Muslims and 1.1 billion non-believers (of all denominations, athiesm being the largest).

We aren't the smallest group in the world. If you included all secular people (atheists, agnostics ect.) in one "religious" group, then we would be the third largest group in the world, behind Islam and Christianity. I still believe that my beliefs reflect truth.
