try to brush up against him then watch to see if he becomes aroused but this rarely works. If you're bold then walk up to him and start a conversation, cup your hand on his crotch and rub gently to see if he becomes aroused. this works without fail. also when he ask what your doing you should tell him you like him and wanted to find out if he likes you. this system always works.

Why do you think he is gay?
Are there rumors to that effect?
Around the schoolyard:):)

Maybe he is reserved.
Maybe he is smart.
Maybe he is thinking..."I can't wait to get to college where I will be away from gossipy little twits."
Maybe he is religious.

How do you know he is virgin?
Did he say so or did you deduce it cause he hasn't tried to hump you in the lunch line?

Maybe he doesn't want to get one of the freshman girls pregnant which would hamper his plans to finish high school and get out of town as soon as possible.
Which would be a smart move.

I dont think people can really declare themselves gay during high school. Virgin or not there are too many hormones involded to truly understand your feelings. Instead of using labels ask him if he is attracted more to males or females. It might be easier to understand in those terms.

If he denied it in front of you, he probably is not one. Because he wants to get serious with you and so that he denied it . Since he bother to assure you that he is not, that tells that he wants to have a go with you. Even though he was once a gay, that wasn't really matter to you as long as he is no longer one , or will you?

i am a virgin but I am not gay ( i am 23) first of all nothing irritates a straight virgin guy more than being thought of as gay .....dont even think about this its going to blow his mind ..........and in my experience I must say i do try impress girls may be even try to hanging out with them .........in general I like their company not because i am freinds with them but because i am attracted to them which is normal for a guy ......i dont why this guy is a virgin but I just want to be rich and successfull (for which I hav to complete my post grad) and I would take no chances........
trust its not very to tough to make out if he is straight ......if would still be turned on by girls..............take care and all the best

There would be no way to know, if you simply have a crush, unknown by him. If you know him well enough, you could ask him to join you for coffee or something - and get to know him. I wouldn't come right out and ask, though - he may not want to discuss his preferences - he may not even be quite sure yet.

Guys can't be virgins in my book because that implies an intact hymen. I've never had sex, but because I use tampons, I'm probably not a virgin.
