I lost forty pounds in seventy-five days on a steady diet of sea weed and lean fresh pork, cabbage and broccoli with ocean fish or squid, mashed potatoes, green beans, and grilled or broiled chicken.
I had these combinations five times a week and twice a day per combination.
For breakfast, I had pink grapefruit and oatmeal without sugar. Of course I had the java with lite creamer.
It is not easy to keep up with these set of dishes; but it actually worked for me. Plus, I still retained my energy level.

Eat only fresh fruit in the mornings as for breakfast, the fruits is what helps clean our bodies, you can drink juice if you want but only fresh home made juice ( Not from a can or bottle) Around lunch time you'll want to eat above ground veggies like corn, peas and green beans. Those kind of veggies. These are what gives us energy during the day. Please nothing from a can. They won't do u any good at all.
Supper time you'll want to eat those veggies grown below ground like carrots and potatos. Here's the catch The only thing you can cook is the potatos and I would suggest slowly baking those, Everything needs to be eaten raw. The heat in cooking kills the things we need to make us healthy. Nothing processed at all is allowed you'll be defeting the purpose. only clean water to drink ( no tap water , thats some nasty stuff ) no coffee no tea no beer or whiskey no soft drink of any kind.. Abosolutley nothing that is processed and at your best don't cook any of it. at least if you have to cook it cook at extreamly low heat and not for any lenght of time. Oh you can have peanuts almonds ectt... raw no salt sorry no salt or butter to any foods either.

I shared this info before, but I would more than happy to do so again. I lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks. I have been eating a lot of dark greens (spinich, broccoli, asparagus, etc.), veggies (carrots, califlower, etc.), no red meat, just baked fish or chicken breasts, dairy products (yogurt, soy milk, cottage cheese), boil egg (not fried), no fried foods (chinese, kentucky, etc.), wheat bread (no white-it breaks down into sugar), lots of water, 4 to 5 cups of green tea per day, healthy snacks in between meals. Eat 4 small meals per day and healthy snacks in between meals. It sounds like a lot, but it is not. For example, you can eat 2 slices wheat bread with the cottage cheese and 1 boil egg for breakfast, then between breakfast and lunch, you can have a yogurt as the healthy snack, then for lunch you can have maybe baked fish or chicken breasts (not a lot) with some dark green and light colored veggies, then between lunch and dinner, you can have a banana or some other fruit, then for dinner, you can eat another light mean similar to lunch. Even though it sounds like a lot, it is important not to miss a meal. Don't forget to exercise. Good luck.

Listen to your body. Eat when you are hungry not because it is lunch time or dinner time. That said, don't eat anything late (say after 8:00 pm). As far as what to eat, I always believed that counting calories is most important. After all, you gain weight by taking in more calories than you spend. It is the opposite to lose weight. You can have that candy bar if you want it, but that just means that you have to eat less or something healthy later that day. I think that a typical male needs about 2,000 calories a day to maintain weight. So try to eat less than that. If you exercise you can either eat more because that increases the calories you burn or you can eat less and lose weight quicker.

If you are hungry, EAT!
Just watch your selections and portions.
If you are on a low or no carb diet and you are hungry, try eating 15 dry roast no salt almonds or 4 or 5 olives.
If you can eat carbs, munch an apple.
Avoid those nasty empty calories.
Good luck on your diet.

The most important thing is control your portion size.
1 teaspoon (5 ml)
about the size of the top half of your thumb
1 ounce (28 g)
approximately inch cube of cheese
volume of four stacked dice
chunk of cheese is about as thick as 2 dominoes
1 handful (palm) of nuts
2 ounces (57 g)
1 small chicken leg or thigh
1/2 cup of cottage cheese or tuna
3 ounces (85 g)
serving of meat is about the size of a deck of playing cards
1/2 of whole chicken breast
1 medium pork chop
1 small hamburger
unbreaded fish fillet
1/2 cup (118 ml)
fruit or vegetables can fit in the palm of your hand
about the volume of a tennis ball
1 cup (236 ml)
about the size of a woman's fist
breakfast cereal goes halfway up the side of a standard cereal bowl
broccoli is about the size of a light bulb
1 medium apple = A tennis ball
Weigh, or measure your food until you are able to estimate portions correctly. Accurately estimating food portions can be difficult if you are dieting, or hungry.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Avoid soda pop as it is full of empty calories.
Keep a food journal.
Try to Eat Every day:
3 servings of protein (ie: 5oz of chicken, 4oz of lean beef)
3 servings of fruit (ie: 1/2 banana, med apple, orange)
4 servings of veggies (ie: 1 cup of cucumbers, lettuce, or tomatoes, or 1/2 c of carrots)
2 servings of starch (ie: 1/2 c of pasta, slice of bread, 1/2 c sugar free cereal)
1 serving of dairy (ie: 1/2 c pf cottage cheese, 1 oz of cheese, or 8 oz of skim milk)
2 servings of fats (ie: tsp of dressing or olive oil or marg)
Don't give up!!!

Dairy- helps your body burn more fat, it's been clinically proven.
Water- Drink a full glass before a meal and you won't eat quite as much.
Sugar Free Jello- It satisfies a sweet tooth and is recommended by many dietitians and nutritionists.
