War. Is it the most evil of all human actions or the most noble? Is it industrialized murder or noble defns?

Those who are pro war and anti war are both passionate about their stance on the subject. Why? Is war nothing more than industrialized murder. A way to kill masses with striking efficiency and precision. We all agree that murder is heinous however if you give it the label of war it suddenly becomes ok. Innocents killed is easily passed off as collateral damage. In my view war is the worst of all possible human actions but I want to hear your thoughts and arguments. Is war industrialized murder or noble fighting for one's homeland?

in my opinion, it is both. there can be anti-war rallies, but also, war movies
it matters what the war is about.
for example, i think the war between lebanon and israel is completely stupid, as many innocent people are dying, and i cant see much point to it
on the other hand, there are situations in wars that give me goosebumps, just thinking about the bravery of some people
another example, the war between armenia and azerbaijan, i thought had much point to it, and had many acts of bravery and nobelity. in one battle, where 200 armenian troops defeated 3000 azerbaijani troops, and in a nother one armenian tank destroyed 12 azerbaijani tanks. you can not say that those two situations were not noble as the armenians are fighting for their land, which for thousands of years has been taken from them, and finally, after the war, got a little piece back

Why do we have to be either "pro" war or "anti" war. Why can't we just be pro or con on a specific issue. I am generally not in favor of war, however some wars can be just. Sometimes humans have to take stand. Sure it would be great if we could all just get along and not fight, but that is not reality, at least not until everyone is of the same mindset. And that just ain't gonna happen. People exist in a sinful evil world, and part of dealing with that fact is dealing with war. It happens get used to it.
