It depends on the how heavy the flow. But mostly yes i would, that's what sex in the shower is for.

Of course, its a normal biological thing, if the man is alright with it there should not be a problem. Now, its best in the shower or the thrid or fourth day of a womens period when the flow is not so intense...

My girlfriend likes to have sex at the first day of her period, which is only stains and she enjoys it always telling me that her period will not be painful and the flow is very regular.

Unfortunately I had to have a hysterectomy 3 years ago.
However I have to say that I do not miss having those menstrual cycles.
