Great bird. My parrot is actually a guard parrot he stays near the front window that looks out the gate and calls when anyone comes. He is 13 years old calls my dog by name and has three different whistles speaks in english as well as hindi about 11 different things. When you give him food that he likes and ask him Is it good? If he likes it he says ummm whats that? when the phone rings he says get the phone, Hello and many more the best is he has trained me to know what he wants!!!

Mine is a Senegal & says a bunch of stuff...

Nikki Bird
I'm gonna get the bird
baby bird
& she whistles & mumbles a lot of other things..

I am teaching her to say AFLAC...

Mine used to fly, but I clipped her wings for the summer, & she was flying out to the kitchen when I was cooking!
She is fun & likes her latest toy, one I made for her.
There are things hidden & she loves to find them!

my severe macaw calls peanuts "crackers" and says the usual thngs like "pretty bird" & "good boy"; he says "hi" or "hello" whenever a phone rings; he coughs, sneezes & burps. he also laughs like an idiot at appropriate times (although i'm pretty sure he doesn't know it's funny when he jumps on my hubby or attacks our feet). he's pretty good at playing fetch with his ball, and likes to attack his "baby" (stuffed dog). bizarre bird!
