I personally would start with small TVs right in front of the judges to review the round and see replays of hits the may have missed from their angle. I would also give them access to compubox numbers. It is about time boxing address the problem of terrible judging and get with the times and make improvement for the fighters sake. These guys give everything including their physical well being and it sucks to have a bad judge rob them of a victory. The judges should also have their scores reviewed by an independent panel and they should be scored on how accurate and fair they were. Then only the highest ranked judges would be allowed to score championship fights. I would love to hear any other solutions.

They should be able to watch what people sees in tv. All the camera angles and replays so no one gets robbed of a win. It's happened too many times. Pick only judges from another country(not the same nationality as the boxers) so there would be no bias judging.

Even thought I judge amateur boxing and not the pros (totally different criteria), I have several comments. First of all, the judges turn in their score cards after each round. To watch a replay within the 1 minute rest period and turn in scores would be a cumbersome and time consuming task. Since Compubox numbers are input by humans, they are as subjective as the actual judges and I don't see how allowing the judges to see the Compubox stats would make a difference. I do know that Vegas has a review of their officials after each event (judging and refereeing). Please also remember that you, as a fan, are only seeing one point of view if you are at a live fight and whatever the TV shows you while sitting on your couch. You only see a portion of what the ringside judges see. I find it very difficult to judge unless I am sitting ringside and am totally focused.

Because boxing is done in large part in Las Vegas and Atlantic city and other places where gambling is legal, then you will have fans betting on the boxers. Anytime you have bets on a fight, then you will have people that want to bribe the boxers and judges to alter the result of the fight. In every match you have offers for the judges to cheat and the boxers to throw the fight. Until Las vegas is cleaned up, boxing is cleaned up and the people who run it like Don King devote themselves to honesty and integrity, Boxing will never change. There is no use in changing the scoring, because peopple will still cheat, get paid to cheat or pay others to cheat and alter the outcome of the fight. UFC fighting is better.
