stops calling, stops emailing, never wants to do anything, makes up excuses for doing things together. is always busy......

He just stops calling, and even when he does, he talks about things in general, and not about the 2 of you. The conversations seem short and shallow, and you'll stop hearing the affection.
He'll be more cropped up with his boys night's out, and gets restless when you're with him.
Guys express their affection through actions, and if you can feel that you are drifting/not progressing any further, then its bad luck.
