I use to be bad for caffeine....use to drink like 6-10 cans of pop a day easy. Did this for years.

Then I cut caffeine out 100%. Was tough at first but after 1 week I felt 1000% better. Wasn't as grumpy, tired, worn down, exhausted, etc.

I still am a pop-a-holic but I only drink root beer now. A non caffeine soda and is the only brown soda that doesn't harm the kidneys or cause kidney stones.

Don't get addicted to caffeine.....it only wears you down over time, causes nerves to be on edge, feel stressed, let alone can give you headaches even migraines. Mine have about completely stopped since I cut caffeine out.

I have been drinking about 2 -3 cups of coffee almost everyday since I was about 20 years old. I am now 45. I have good medical check-ups every year. Am not sick very often (colds, etc.) As far as I know, it hasn't affected my health. Sitting down to a cup of coffee first thing in the morning is my favorite time of the day.

I try not to drink/eat anything that contains caffeine. I think it's best to not get hooked on that stuff that way you won't be dependent on it just to stay awake. Just go the natural way: get enough sleep and eat right. That should give you more than enough energy. At college, I drank a glass of pepsi at dinner a couple nights and was wondering why I wasn't getting sleepy at night. Turns out it was the caffeine, so I'm not doing that anymore.

In the mornings at work, I drink a large bottle of flavored water. Around lunchtime, I open a Coke and maybe have one more Coke before I leave. When I get home, I drink either soda or iced tea. I try not to drink the iced tea too late because it tends to keep me awake and it gives me way too much time inside my own head!

I used to be addicted....But then I started to run long distance,, and I decided I was sick of those cramps in my stomach at night. So the one day I came home with a free pop they gave me at school, I was about to drink it then I realized that I didn't need it anymore. So I literally threw the can on the ground of the cement, on the driveway. Only once in the last 3 years have I tasted it, and it was awful.
