My jack ruselle terrior (dog) has been severly hurt, a semi truck door closed on my puppy (on an accident), I do not know what part of the body it hit. My puppy is acting very different now, she is not moving that much, she can move her legs but she cant get up and walk, every time when you stand her up she falls back down. She lays there constantly, she can still eat and drink when you help her. She can still hear, and see but she cannot stand, I have not heard her whimper or make any sounds of any sort. And her head keeps moving side to side and then it plops right back down. Im really scared so please help, thank you very much for the inconvenence. What is happening to her, and what should I do?

she could have hurt her back when door slammed on her. If the spinal cord is injured her back legs could be permanently paralyzed. She is probably in a lot of pain but since she isn't whimpering or anything she may just be uncomfortable. If her legs are paralyzed she probably is wondering why she can't feel them. I would take her to the vet ASAP!

Go to a VET immediatley. If you can't afford it call the humane society or ASPCA and sign the dog over to them. If you do nothing you and your parents if you are under aged will be prosecuted for animal abuse and/or negligence. Not a nice thing to have on your record. But if you love your DOG/ Get it to a vet right now!!!! I am very sorry to hear that your Pup is hurting right now. Please do the right thing.

You need to take it to the vet as soon as possible!!

Other than the visible injuries, my guess is that it might have internal organ injuries. You need to take it to the vet before it's too late.

Meanwhile, keep the dog warm with a blanket and let it get as much rest as possible.

There is not even a question...take the pup to the vet! You could do more damage by waiting. Look in the yellow pages for a clinic if you cannot afford your regular vet, but do it now.

she could have a back injury or spinal cord damage.....you will have no other choice but to take her to a vet.....in little dogs like that they can get injured so easily especially their backs....i know how you feel, it is un-nerveing to see your pet like that but accidents happen and jack ruselles tend to be high spirited and want to see everything........dont ger discuraged let the vet check her out and go from there

How long ago did this happen? She definately needs to go to a vet! If this happened recently, she could still be in shock and extremely sore! Internal injuries could also be the problem! Please take her to a vet!

if there is an serious accident, it may be a head injury if she moving her head uncontrollably. besides, there may be a spinal cord injury,if she feels paralysed . she must had physical as well as mental trauma.

DON"T WASTE TIME & RUN TO THE VET, PLS. BE FAST.
