It is possiable that he thinks that now that you two are BF/GF that the random chats that you used to have are somewhat not as appropriate. It's one of those, now that you are going out, he really dosen't feel that you two can be best friends, or at least I hope that this is the reason. If it is that, just talk to him (go over) and tell him that you miss that random chats that you two had and that you wish he would want to do it more often... He probably misses them too..
The other possiability is that he has decided that the relationship is a little wierd as you two are good freinds and he is trying to get out of the firendship so that he can be a boyfirend (some guys can' distinguish the two)... and is a little weirded out at being your boyfriend because of that reason... Again, it's just something you need to sit down and talk about with him...
Whatever happends.. if he has been a good friend in the past please try to keep that over being his boyfreind... Friends are mroe imporant than that and most likely down the road you will still have a chance to get back together when you two are both more mature and able to handle a long-term relationship...

well its hard to give proper answer as i dont know all there circumstances surrounding and leading up to this scenario. but what i can say is that the best thing is for you to ask him. that way you get the correct answer and if he tries brushing it of dont take no for an answer, get the truth. if that doesnt work then i'm sorry but you'l have to move on. its best for you, because communication is what holds a relastionship together no matter the distance.
but of the cue. i'd say there's probably a situation he has and doesnt feel comfortable talking to you about or maybe it even has somethng to do with you. well whatever it is he doesnt know how to confront it and so by avoiding you he is hoping to avoid his problem as well. what he ahs to say may not be what you want to hear but its better all round.
hope this helps but the best way is to talk to him.

No, you're nicely suited! i'm having an identical situation with my fiancee & she's fifty two. Oh, she's easy, yet does not look to comprehend that the foundation to any relationship is verbal replace & adjustments the project or yells whilst a perplexing subject remember comes up. Sorry, decrease back on your situation, the question is what are you gonna do approximately it? it variety of feels you acquire a house at the same time-this would take awhile to confirm. I propose counseling if he's keen. you would be able to desire to talk to somebody who can get to the actual subjects of you're relationship & additionally your own subjects. The mendacity & the insulin element are indicators. Am I nicely suited? I f you could no longer set up a line of verbal replace with regard to the actual subjects on your lives, i think you're Doomed to unhappiness with him. you could no longer do it on my own! It in simple terms takes 2 (commitments) to tango. If no longer something works & you do confirm to interrupt it off, it is going to take awhile to sell the homestead or to discover yet another roommate & to get well emotionally. sturdy success! Prayer facilitates in case you have self belief. in case you like a shoulder to cry on my e mail is open.

Dating can ruin an otherwise great friendship. Think twice before taking a friendship to the next level because it may never be the same again.

Ignore the stupid answers here; they're just looking for points.
School is starting soon. You'll find someone better. When he comes crawling back, kick him to the curb!

I think he's sending you a pretty clear signal.
Mistake dating you -- wants out -- too immature to tell you to your face -- now avoiding you so that you'll dump him and spare him the chore.
