Question to people who may know what possable problems does a person who has swelling of the brain>?

They did two cat scans and so far they said that my dads brain is swelling because water build up in the brain as well as the most scary part is they said they found spots all over the brain the size of a quarter none of these spots connect but there are spots all over can you please help me figure out what possable senarios i should be getting ready to hear today after testing im broken down and im scared!?

hi when there is swelling on the brain, the docs can insert something called a shunt, this is a tube which drains fluid from the brain and into the stomach, it is inserted behind the head, that will be done under a general anaesthetic, the spots could be a number of things, you are best of waiting to see what the doctors say, as people on here aren't medically trained and don't know what they are looking for on scans if you have things put into your head you will worry to much, i am a nurse in neurology so i seen lots of things like this, and alot turn out to be just fine

Water on the brain causes pressure on your brain stem, head shunts can be inserted in some cases and a tube goes to the stomach for the water to drain. My friend has MS and has spots on her brain. Wait until you hear their findings then do your research and learn everything. You only get one Dad so it is natural to worry and be scared, makes you a good child and caring person. a guy or woman can in basic terms have one soul yet to a soul there is multiple factors. Like if we didnt we'd all be one sided on each thing. So for somebody to have 2 souls isn't likely. yet to have a definite bond or connection to an animal as a results of reincarnation its attainable to experience such as you have 2 souls yet its no longer likely. desire it facilitates
