Yeah it grows **quickly** unless you do.
You can also get food poisoning from it if it is left out for too long.

Tomato sauce is acid and does not spoil very quickly, but mold will grow on it and that can be a problem. Refrigeration, once it has been exposed to the air is a good idea. When it gets "fuzzy" you do NOT want to eat it!!!! :)

Yes...cover it and refrigerate. I would use it with in 4 days then toss out.

It does. Once the seal has been broken, you have invited in all kinds of bacteria...think moldy vegetables...YUCK. But anyway, refrigerate it, use within I believe a few days.

I take it you mean the jarred/canned variety? Once it's been opened, I definitely would want to refrigerate it... Prior to that, it's not neccessary because it has been sterilized in the canning/jarring process.

if u want to leave it out overnight then yes....or what you can do is add some olive oil to a pot, once its hot, add the sauce and 'fry' it....by doing this it will not spoil for up to a month

YES BECAUSE IF THERE IS TAMOTO SAUCE IN IT THEN YES IF IT DOES NOT THEN NO BUT A LOT OF THEM HAVE TO BE REFRIGERATED CAUSE THEN IT WILL BE SPOILED AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO THROW IT AWAY!!!!
