Why Israek specialised in killing only civilians not Hez. Guerrillas.?

It is always heard or seen that Israel air strikes hit civilians, and Israel army are claiming that Hez. Guers. are using civilians as shield. Up to now no physical evidence is presented that will prove that Hez. are using civ. as shield. It is well known that whenever Hez made their attacks, 90% of the victims are millitary. But the story is different on Israelis' attacks. In the previous days, several attacks were carried by Israel millitary and that the whole victims are civilians mostly females and children, no single corps of Hez army can be seen among the vics. What I understand is that Israel is carrying its attacks on all lebanese not Hez. But i don't know others views.

You can say what you want about Hezbullah hiding behind civilians, but how can you dispute the fact that bodies of women and children are found, without any Hezbullah bodies in sight? These people are hiding in their homes to avoid Israeli bombs and missiles, but israel keep making "mistake" after "mistake".

These soldiers claim to suffer from "combat stress", and that wasa why they raped the girl and shot her and her family, then burned her body. If an American soldier can claim combat stress for rape and murders, why can't the palestinians claim stress due to israel's tanking their homes and bombing their families for their responces?

These people do not deserve this punishment. These people can't even get aid from UN or other relief organizations because the roads and bridges have been bombed by Israelis. There is no infrastructure left in that part of the country. How can these civilians leave when even UN can't get in? When is it going to end? Israels strategy of killing innocent civilains and occupying Lebanon is only going to create more Hezbullah members for the future.

90 % of Hez targets are military. Where do you get your info from? Hez Guer. have been attacking civilians for years, with human bombs, missile, which by the way, have no guidance system, so Hez Guer. have no idea whether they will hit a base or a house.
The death toll of Israeli civilians over the past 6 years is nearly the same as the death toll of civilians killed in this war.

Look at where the Hez Guer. launch there attacks from, villages and next to houses. Do they come out and attack while Israel is not near a Lab. village. No. They wait and hide in the village, knowing women and children are all around them.

Every war since WW I, civilians have been killed, and the enemy knew civilians would be killed by there positioning. Nazis were experts at this, and it is obvious Hez Guer. are using there positioning in the same way. So the only way to attack them, civilians will be killed. I just came from Labonan 2 weeks ago, and most of the people I talked to want a cease-fire and most definitely want Hez guer. disarmed, and want Israel out of there country. So they can have there country back.

Labonan was just getting back on its feet when Hez Guer. started this. Hez Guer. tried to seize an opportunity by crossing the border, kill Israeli soldiers and kidnap 2 soldiers. And this was the straw that broke the camels back. Hez.guer. have been attacking Israel with suic. bombers, missiles for over six years.

Your facts on the death toll of Israeli civilians is grossly incorrect.
Houses, buses and people walking in the streets have been killed.
Hez Guer. have used every method and opportunity to kill Israelis, whether they be civilian or military. It was planned and executed to kill civilians.
Do your homework, or better yet go over and live it for 3 years as I have in Israel and Labonan. I traveled back and forth working with disabled children. It is sad how so many innocent Israel and Labonese children are suffering right now. They are the victims of a hatred for Israel that has been going on ever since its beginning as a nation.
With the Worlds view on this, I don't believe this fighting will end, maybe this war, but the fighting will continue.

Hezbolla is a terrorist group, therefore they do not follow standard military rules. One of those rules is the use of a formal military uniform, and this is very important.

Like in Iraq and similar to places in Vietnam, there is no way for the Israel's to distiguish who is an enemy or not. The person who is selling them coffee during the day could be the person launching rockets at them at night. And sense there is no way of telling whether someone is a Hez. terrorist, there is no way to tell if it was a terrorist or civilian who was killed.

The news media is always looking for the most spectacular story to report, and it sounds worse to say "100 civilians killed" then something ambiguous like "Lebanon Bombed, Many Dead" but the truth is, it is very ambiguous. Keep in mind that Israel is not targeting non-military sites. That would be pointless and wasteful, and the Government would be held responsible by the rest of the world.

And in response to your statistics.. "whenever Hez made their attacks, 90% of the victims are millitary" Yesterday I heard a report that Hez. rockets killed 8 Iraeli civilians and just 2 Military. They are firing blind, it's just sheer luck on their part when the hit something.

Perfectly put. U forgot the infrastructure including facotries (milk factory and steel factory (my friends actually) roads, bridge killing people i know, lebanese army who they want to take control of the border ports airports..... I could go on forever. Also israel killed over 900 civilian and a bit over 60 hizballah and 50 leb army comparede to hizballahs 62 israel army and 32 civilians. Of course it is lebanon who is comitting these crimes right??

Also to the guy Eddie: Hizballah changed their policies and agreed to disarm as soon as israel gets off all lebanese territories and releases all lebanese illegally detained while in Lebanon. Also hizballah have clear areas which are marked for them and they dont like to hide in places where kids are because they know that these kids support them. Also lebanon did not bring it on itslef because as i remember israel attacked lebanon in 1968 then invaded lebanon in 1978 and significantly in 1982 which triggered the foundation of hizballah after he lebanese shiites where fed up with the israelis killing them. The Lebanese government had many discussions about how to disarm hizballah ever since they were elected. A political party which isnt in the government came up with a simple agreement that led to their dissarment. Israel only kidnapped the soldiers according to a christian ally of hizballah who received a telphone call from hassan nasrallah right after it happened just for a prisoner exchange.

The physical evidence is the trucks which carry the machinery that launch the missiles.
The trucks then go into hiding or high tail it out of the area.
This makes it hard to keep track of them.
The Israelis have apologised for the women and children who died in the building but where were the fathers and husbands of these women and children no sign of any of them that is a little odd don't you think?
Israel is trying to stop the Hezbollah terrorists who are hiding in civilian arears.
They have dropped papers warning people to get out of there it is going to be dangerous.
I have never seen the terrorists warn the helpless citizens to get out before they attack.

Hezballah hides in civilian areas. There's video of them launching rockets from next to hospitals and in school yards. When Israel retaliates, they drop leaflets warning civilians and gives them a chance to get out. But the drawback to that, is that Hezballah mixes in with the civilians so that when Israel strikes back, there will be civilian casualities.

Technically, lebanon declared war against Israel. Hezballah is a legitimate part of the lebanese government. In the latest peace agreement, Lebanon was to move Hezbellah North out of striking distance. They didn't. Israel has vacated large tracts of land so that the palestinian people can move in. For their actions, they've been attacked. Hezbellah sends suicide bombers into crowded civilian areas. They've been firing indiscriminately into Israel. Israel has yet to send a single suicide bomber into Lebanon. Nor do they fire willy-nilly into civilian areas.

It's hard to target an enemy who hides in civillain quarters. Also Isreal is forcing a buffer zone by blowing up much of southern lebanon. They are somewhat punishing lebanon for allowing Hezballoh to gain strength and shot rockets from their land. The reality is that many of the killed / injured are in fact Hezbollah members, but they certainly won't report that, and the Muslim press is very much controlled by the terrorists and dictatorial regimes. Of course, there are civilian casualties, but they Israel Defense Forces (IDF) never directly targets civilians.

Hezbollah is a terrorist group in Lebanon, supported by Syria and Iran that repeatedly struck civilians in Israel. The members are Shiite Muslims, led by Hassan Nasrallah. Their mission is to destroy the State of Israel and terrorize its citizens, and are directly attacking citizens in Israeli cities as I write this, directly at residential locations, killing, injuring, and terrorizing Israeli civilians. They have apologized only when Arab-Israelis were killed, not Jewish, Christian or otherwise.

Unfortunately for the Lebanese civilians, Hezbollah embeds itself, and launches rockets within residential areas. Israel has warned in advance to allow people to leave, but Hezbollah uses many civilians as human shield. Israel tries as best as possible to avoid killing civilians, while Hezbollah and other terrorist groups are intentionally targeting Israeli civilians, and only apologize if they killed Arab-Israeli civilians.

Let me remind you and others how the current situation began 3 weeks ago:

BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israeli soil, killing 8 and kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers, Israel would not be on the offensive to destory Hezbollah. This is not a war on Lebanon. It is a war on Hezbollah and its backers (Syria and Iran). Since the Lebanese army that numbers about 150,000 soldiers is unwilling and/or unable to remove Hezbollah's 5,000 terrorists, Israel will.

The situation is tragic over there, but it is Lebanon's fault for not protecting itself and exercising its sovereign right against a militia, a terrorist group in control of parts of its country.

Israel wants peace and recognition of its existence. The Muslim extremists, including Syria and Iran regimes want Israel wiped off the face of the earth, and have repeatedly said so. Israel has absolutely no interest in claiming Lebanon, or any other Arab country.

I don't know about you, but when you hear a leader of a regime (Iran) inciting hate and claiming his intentions, he and his regime must be taken out (if the world would have done so with Hitler, there would not have been a Holocaust or WWII).

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

I am sick and tired of hearing from Muslims that Islam is such a "peaceful religion."(!) Well, thank Allah Islam is such a "peaceful religion". Can you imagine if it weren't??!

It is time for the Muslim world to take some accountability and handle its exterme element that is numbered in the millions of people.

This is a grave and dangerous situation, but it has to and will be dealt with. Whether by global support or only by Israel. Israel has no choice but to destroy Hezbollah.

Deal with Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran, and you shall have peace in the Middle East. The extremist element of Islam MUST BE and WILL BE dealt with. So it is written, so it shall be.
