In todays world what qualities in a men do Women want?

First and foremost, I want honesty. Both men and women these days seem highly dishonest. The other quality I look for (besides the physical) is a sense of humor. If you are not the least bit humourous, forget about dating me. I am not really into guys who can't laugh and take life so seriously. Another quality I look for is respect. I like a guy to respect my life, my intelligence and my interests. With this in mind, I like a guy who is punctual and not late for everything. That is just disrespectful.
I also enjoy a guy who shows their sensitive side. A meathead macho type is not attractive AT ALL. A guy who thinks he is all that and a bag of chips is just a complete turn off. I like a guy who can show their feelings, not meaning cry in front of me, but one who is comfortable in their own skin to open up to me. I also like a level of maturity. I appreciate a guy who lets me be myself around them, and I don't have to be false.
I also like a guy who likes to eat. I like a guy with a little meat on them!! I am thin, so I am not attracted to men the same size as me! I like a little manliness. Someone who works out to the point that they look like a muscle man is so unattractive. To me that just spells insecurity and they are just not happy with themselves.
I also look for an affectionate man. I like to be touched, held, and have my hair pet. I don't like a man who cannot cuddle or hold me. That shows something is lacking emotionally with them and they cannot connect with me.
And finally, I don't like a man who is not serious about their life. This means I like a goal oriented man, who is either starting their career or has serious plans on what they are going to do. I am not into someone who floats through life and never getting serious. That is a turn off for me. If they are not serious about their own life they are never going to be serious about me. I want to get married and have children. I am not going to fool around or play games with someone who does not want those same dreams. You have to be compatible and share some of the same goals.

A man who is worth his salt will love, respect, cherish and NEVER take a woman for granted. Money is not a quality!!!( for the first responer). The man I ove and hope to marry someday is in no way wealthy. He works a normal job, makes enough to keep up with his bills and that is it. I love him for the way he treats me, the way he respects me, how he treats my children and most importantly, I love him for him. He can be quite anti-social at times and he has his moods, but he never stops loving or respecting me. That is a man. If you run across girls who care about the car you are driving, the shoes and clothes and watch you are wearing, RUN!! Find a girl who likes you for you. Good luck.
