Sex before marriage, outside of marriage. Why do they care so much who I'm banging? Nothing in life is greater than a one night stand, it's likes winning the world cup, a gold metel and a super bowl all in one day, but religian wants to take away that pleasure, I guess it's because jesus wasn't getting any

I am a Christian... and I can tell you that I know sex is not evil, as any of my other Christian friends will also tell you. Why do people take what we believe and put it to the extreme? Someone says "I don't want to go to the movies tonight" and it's twisted into "I will never go to the movies".
Sex is an act that is intimate and to be treasured and enjoyed by a married couple. There is nothing wrong with sex unless it is degraded and made worthless. It is not a casual thing to share with many people.
It is not evil, but when you take such an intimate and wonderful thing and make it casual, you are ruining what it is meant for, and giving away pieces of yourself that are only meant for one person.

I am a Christian and I believe that sex is honorable and pure if a couple is married.
Hebrews 13:4 reads "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
Religious people are cautious about this aspect of life because sex is entralling and entangles a lot of human emotion. Casual sex hurts the self-esteem and self-worth, and it is not healthy.
Muslims enforce extreme conservativism because they are aware of the dangers of immorality and how easy it is for a human to fall into sin.
A Muslim friend of mine became interested in a man she met at a religious service, and the wali (a religious overseer) talked with the man and found there was mutual interest, and sternly told him he had better have marriage on his mind before he talked to her.

Dear Brian, U r welcome for this question even U r 2 young 2 understand the fundas. The Indian way of thinking is also same.
Sex is meant to recreate the next generation to keep on going the worldly activities.Sex is the only way for this but in pre-historic times when we humans lived like animals & on the other hand,as humans advancing culturally & socially,it was needed to upgrade many a systems including SEX which, in fact was a animal like practice at that time.So our elderly people carved out some rules to guard the dignity of all specially women who had to suffer a lot from males. Now when U grow older, then think over this.Sex means-to give someone best out of U but only when desired and not imposing. This is a great power given by GOD to us which can be directed for self-growth and should not be wasted every now & then just for enjoyment. When SEX is taken for only enjoyment then only Religeous People condemn it but not when it is practiced by rules.Being a student U cann't break the rules of Ur school / college laid down by them. So,always remember that every thing is governed by some rules.Do U know that as per INDIAN mythology there are 4 steps a man had to follow by taking the avearage age of 100 yrs. - 0-25 yrs.only Education,25-50 yrs. -for earning & recreation of progeny (it included sex with only one wife strictly ),50-75 yrs. for religeous works & settling down the children & 75-100 yrs.for leaving all the worldly things &leave to practice the deep religeous practices to know about GOD & for himself. this time is for Ur studies only so better concentrate on Ur studies & be a good Human Being for this world .

Most people who are religious (not all of them think this way) feel that it is bad because they can't control it. And if you can't control something, then it must be no good. The sad part of it is that most religions pit people against their nature. It is natural to want to have sex, but they feel dirty once they've done it. Which in turn leads them to beating themselves up over it and 'repenting' for their sins... only to eventually do it again and start the cycle all over. This, also will lead people to have a bad idea about who they are as people (why can't I be stronger?). It's sad that religion has to constrict our nature and that people impose these unnatural laws on themselves.

You have correctly identified the source, "religious people." Traditions of men have mislead people to believe that the "apple" eaten by Eve in the Garden of Eden was really sex. That is the farthest thing from the truth. The fruit Eve ate was her test of loyalty to her creator. Sadly, she and Adam failed their test. We know sex was not the issue because God told them to be fruitful and multiply and populate the earth. They did produce sons and daughters. Sex is a beautiful part of marriage to show love and tenderness to your mate. It's only through the perversions of man and his gross thinking that have labeled "sex" as evil.

It's because their version of god is based on the Anannaki, not the creator of the universe. They were individuals in that area mining gold and didn't like the humans having sex when they wanted them to be slaving in the gold mines instead. That's where this "sex is evil" bit derives from.
