We do know that there are many foods that if ate together, would react together and would affect the consumer negatively.

So what are the foods that cannot be ate together?

Bodily discomfort, I believe that is what you mean? Many say no meat and milk products together (I have personally experienced this) but there are times when one just needs to be careful (I'll never give up Gyros with cucumber-yogurt sauce--souvlaki and tatziki to the Greeks but I had something similar in the Middle-East that others enjoyed but my stomach ached all day). It really comes down to chemistry in most cases--acidic things like grapefruit and pineapple (especially their juices), vinegar, alcohol, can react badly in your body when mixed with dairy but the best advice is when you eat anything--especially things that you haven't had together--I find that I receive a subtle initial warning right below my sternum, an uncomfortable feeling that if it isn't ignored can steer you clear of a greater discomfort if you continue to eat it. It is amazing the different things that can bother one body and not another.

There are a couple real no no's.

Don't eat raw eggs - yeah supposedly they screen em' but a certain number still have salmonella until cooked through.
Don't eat raw pork - lots of different nasty diseases from this one.
Don't eat raw chicken

Noticing a trend here with raw animal pieces? remember that and you should be fine.

The exception to the raw meat rule is beef steak and fish. Either of these can in fact be eaten raw. But I think they taste better cooked. (Ground Beef does NOT, repeat NOT, count as an exception!! -- It MUST be cooked. Many people get food poisoning from bad ground beef every year because they leave it pink in the middle. you can only do that with steak.)

And finally mayonaise - shouldn't be left out of the fridge for very long. It can grow nasty things.

Likewise, anything you aren't going to eat within a half hour or so should be stored in a fridge and put away to prevent bacteria growing.

Well, these are the rules I learned growing up. They seem to work pretty well.

I heard any dairy product such as yogurt with any kinds of fish is not good.

Also having soda after milk is not good either as it upsets the stomach.

Eating mixed kinds of meats i.e mixed platter of different types of meats like chicken and steak- I personally feel is not good either..but that's a personal thing that I feel just isn't right. Call it instinct.

Raw chicken should never touch any vegetables to prevent being infected with Salmonella-this can cause, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection and hospitalization at times. Salmonella infection may spread from the intestines to the blood stream.

You should always have a separate chopping board for chicken and then it should be scrubbed thoroughly afterwards and even the wash basin.

Not just chicken but any raw meat can contain harmful bacteria that can spread very easily to anything it touches, including other foods, worktops, chopping boards and knives. You have to keep raw meat away from ready-to-eat foods, such as salad, fruit and bread.

You also have to be careful regarding homemade mayonnaise, ice cream, cake mix and mousses as these contain raw eggs and therefore carry the risk of salmonella. Always check expiration dates and check all eggs are fresh.

Cultural cooking is an incredible combo of this very topic.
Many times it was not possible to mix them.

Asian and Indian/Paki/Middle eastern cultural types can show you how not to use the dairy mixtures.

Kosher Jewish foods are very specific on HOW food is to be "used part of the animal" stored, cooked and consumed.

Enjoy your findings. Changing my foods, changed my life.
My health is directly related to the nourishment in taken .

Take a cooking class with a friend on a Saturday..its a great fun time.

Cross Contamination of foods will give you food poisoning. Using the same utensils, such as a knife-for example, to cut raw meats, fish, fowl, eggs and then use that same knife to cut up fruit and veggies. Also, milk and dairy fits into the above too. Upset stomachs can be caused by numerous combinations of food and drinks.
(Campylobacter, and Salmonella)

You said: "We do know that there are many foods that if ate together..." (I think you meant "eaten"?)"...would react together and would affect the consumer negatively".

After extensive research, I can't find any of them. Perhaps you can enlighten us as to where you got this absurd notion?

I've never heard of that. Food poisoning comes from undercooked food or food stored at the wrong temperature or for too long.

In your second and third sentences, the grammatically correct form of the verb "to eat" should be 'eaten.'
Now, it is thought that cold cherries and cream can poison a human being - there's a myth that a President of the United States died at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco after his wife fed him - on purpose - cherries and cream on a hot day.

Are you talking about the old kosher laws? According to kosher laws meat and dairy have to be served on seperate plates. They can be served at the same meal, they just aren't supposed to touch each other.

Fish heads and kumquats ground up in a blender not too good. Makes good Gopher bait though.
