Your sister is a lost cause. There is absolutely nothing you can do to help her, that is something she can only do. I've seen to many people I care about go down on that stuff. Your sister is really bad off. Those drugs take over, and the sad part is that she is chasing a "HIGH" that she will never feel again. That is also the basic reason people become addicted. They go from snorting to smoking to shooting up. It is a sad and heart wrenching thing to watch, at least your niece is with family and not lost in foster care. Your sister has to hit bottom, but only she knows where her bottom is. I'm really sorry.

Deadly. If you research the ingredients alone in crystal meth you'll understand why. If someone doesn't help your sister she will die. People who are 20 years old look like they are 50 from doing meth so much. Their teeth rot out, the don't eat. A six year old boy died just from contact with a plastic grocery bag he found outside that had been used in a meth house. The residue left on the bag absorbed through this childs skin and he died. GET HER HELP NOW!..Good Luck, I hope everything turns out o.k., especially for your 7 yr old neice's sake.

It's HIGHLY addictive. One "trial" of the drug can result in addiction. Very hard habit to kick, especially when coupled with crack and alcohol. Your niece is where she needs to be. Plan to be raising her. Unless someone does an intervention on your sister and gets her into rehab (and PDQ) her days on the planet are probably numbered. Had a sister-in-law, many years ago, who died from the same addiction at age 31. Don't fool yourself about how deadly those drugs are. I'd recommend calling Narcotics Anonymous and asking to be put in touch with someone who can arrange an intervention. If she doesn't have health insurance, talk to Social Services in California to find out how they can assist.

Meth addiction is one of the worst. It is one of the hardest drug to quit using. Addicts have a really hard time with this. It is so readily available everywhere and it is not that expensive.
It can be found almost anywhere in the country. From large cities to small towns.
They loose thier teeth and get very thin and sick. It is a vasio constrictior and constricts the blood vessels. That is why they loose thier teeth. They loose the circulation and the teeth get loose and fall out. It eats away bone tissue.
It is poison and it can kill a person.
If your sister is ready for help and wants to quit help her get it if not let her go until she wants help.

She's probably going to find out if you tell. But you should tell because it's not safe for her to be taking all those pills and drinking. Somone has to HELP her, and even though she will be very mad at you, one day she'll realize that you weren't being a little "tattle tale" you were helping her. Maybe (if your mom is up for it) you could tell your mom and try to work out a plan for your mom to catch her taking pills from her cabinet, so that your sister is caught red handed and will not think you had anything to do with it.

Just about the worst there is. Cheap, readily available, highly addictive, VERY destructive of health. Deadly. I see it all the time.
Teeth fall out - women age 10 years in 6 months, then die.
VERY BAD STUFF!

I personally do not have experience. My husband's ex-boss 17 years ago started to take these drugs. He was one of the largest contractors in our city. He lost his family, he lost his home, he lost his business. When I met him 10 years ago he was being escorted by prison guards to attend his brother's funeral. When he got out of jail, he was put back in by his parents, their home items and belongings were stolen by him. Even being off the drugs in prison did not keep him from acquiring it as soon as he got out.
I believe this habit is among the worst. I would keep your niece 3000 miles away if I were you.
