I had something similar and, if you're getting it mostly in the morning, then it may well be stress related.
The one thing that helped me lots was increasing the amount of water that I was drinking and reducing the amounts of stimulants, i.e. chocolate, caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol, spicy foods etc.
My headaches always come back if I don't drink enough water.
It's also worth just getting your eyes tested to make sure that you don't need glasses or lenses or that those you wear are the right strength.
If it still persists, then speak to your doctor who can do further tests.

Welcome to the world of migraines.
Go to your doctor and explain. He will help you out, probably with medication.
I also woke up with them very often, and found that they are triggered (the morning ones) by me sleeping with my neck twisted. I would always sleep on my stomach. I went to the chiropractor and he adjusted my neck for a few weeks and I also stopped sleeping on my stomach. (not easy to do). The morning migraines stopped. I still get them during the day from stress (which for me also knots up my neck causing the headaches). But the chiropractor helps me get them less often and the medication the doctor gave me works when I DO get them.

I don't know how old you are but you should see a doctor as it could be your pressure or something worse!! Don't play with pains like that in your head as I know first hand.

It can be a tumor or a large blood clot behing your eye. Go to a medical doctor (not an opthemologist) and have him order a CT scan.
