Dumbest (after 5 years or so together): I am not sure if you are the person I want in my life. I am not sure that you aren't either. Can't we be just friends for a while?
(It took him about a year and a half to persuade me he was serious; afterwards... I told him we could just drop the "for a while" from the end of the above...)

The dumbest thing an ex ever said to me was, he didn't have any money to come see his sick child in hospital and I should've called him earlier in the day, so he could've borrowed some money off his flat mate!! Here's the joke - he's always bunking the train fare and I don't understand why this time he couldn't do it??

This is the funniest....We were being um, intimate and I was on the receiving end (get the picture?) and he was really breathing heavy and I was like "Wow! He must really be enjoying this!" After all was said and done, I said to him "you sounded like you were really into it and that was a total turn on."......his response? Nah, I just had a hair stuck up my nose! I laughed for a good 20 minutes straight. I love my man!
